Random idea why not put seeds at the end of cigarette butts so when The cigarette become a tree lr a bush or something?

just kind of a Random idea i've had for a while I am a smoker myself I do not litter my butts on the ground but I know a lot of smokers that do so what are your thoughts on this idea

Because that's not how it works.

The butts are made of fibreglass, and will not breakdown when planted. You're basically littering.

Not really, there a brand out there called camel crush which is a regular cigarette that has this round blue ball in it that can turn it into a menthol cigarette and that doesn’t get sucked back into the lungs. So very little chance a seed would.

Yea I did I smoke a lot at night and I was thinking about this idea a couple days ago once the sun goes down I start smoking. Unless I’m at work of course or in an anime club meeting.

i could tell because i was a stoner long ago and currently live with one and until recently had about 6 other stoners living with me. not a terrible idea you had there, its just got things that make it undoable.

Yea it would be nice if we could do it, think about how many people smoke a leave there butts lying on the ground. Now what’s nice is they only take 3 years to rot so it’s not a major issue but still if we could get trees out of the deal that would be cool. Your littering but giving back to the environment as the same time.

that in its self could turn out bad though. assuming birds did not go after the butts for the seeds and what ever mite come from that (nicotine poisining etc) then there is the fact a lot of butts end up in awkward places such as the middle of a dirt parking area. would have trees in all the wrong places including in the middle of some major highways due to a seed making into a crack in the pavenent. could you imagine the chaos if say a tree grew and screwed up the 405 freeway or some such?

I put them in a bowl for the birds. Then the bird fly somewhere, poop out the seeds which their bird poop and it acts as fertilizer to help the seed grow.
