Like any other animal it will depend on how tame it is. Even if it's tame, it might not let a stranger handle it. That's true even with dogs and cats.
I would approach it carefully and watch how it reacts. I think it's unlikely to let you handle it. Be careful because a rooster can do some damage to you.
Get to chasing it and even if it hops on your back & get to trying to get ahold of it. Once you do don’t let it peck you it can get rowdy. I’ve only held one cause my mother and sister was afraid of catching and holding it. It hopped on my back and was running around the yard. We had a farm of animals.

Ooh that sounds fun, having farm animals. I wish i could walk on a farm and visit all the animals. I wouldn't chase them! That's not nice.
