Tell me a time you went up against other people who you knew were wrong. How did it turn out for you?

I have done it a few times I could have stayed out of it but each time was different and most time it always cost me something at that time ,, but when the truth comes out now the people who were making all the drama and wouldn't even look deeper for the truth my son made a bet with a friend one time came to me asked me a question and I answered I said why,,, he said he made a bet with this guy I know,, and my son was wrong. And I tolld him he was wrong ,, he said dad you don't even like thst guy. Why did you pick his side. I said because he was right. I'm not going to lie to myself or chest my self of you truth is truth

Like Paris said, with my fiancée is an agree to disagree as well.
With my mother, I don't push too much because she starts crying and saying how she's an horrible mother and she "deserves to die" - coincidentally she starts talking like that when me or my aunt bring up the possibility of her getting a job instead of mooching off family and friends.
With other people, at work or in cooperative or on here, I do my best to be as respectful as I can, as long as they are respectful.
