Can We Ever Really Know The "REAL TRUTH"? About People? About God? About Life?

I do know the truth about how miss brain's muffins are made 😂

Now the reality is just a concept as how we humans see things, we don't even know if the reality is really REAL! 🤣

We can just make assumptions that if we can see, hear, smell, feel or touch something, then it's real, our whole perspective of reality might be fake, there might be a lot of things above our senses that they exists and we do not know about it, take for example the dark matter in the universe which makes nearly 95% of it and the only way to know that it's there is only by the effects that it cause on our visible universe which is made of matter!

Now about God, it's called faith! If you can prove everything about god and show it to the world than it's not faith anymore, i do believe in god and jesus teachings, he came to this world to show us how can we walk on the right path to our salvation, also to learn how we must treat each other and what humanity really is, which is something we lack a lot in our world today!
The prove is around you everywhere, some people are close minded and cannot see what's beyond and chose to believe in only what their senses and knowledge can give them, also there are some people who chose to have faith cause they have nothing to lose and they might had some experiences in their lives which made them become closer to god, in the end god gave you the freedom to chose in wether you want to believe in him or not, but when the time comes, don't ever say that you didn't knew!!

It's easy to know people, because you are what you say and what you do, some people are complicated, it's because the human mind is complicated, so if someone doesn't reaveal himself or herself to you, you won't be able to know what's going on inside their minds and that's where the honesty in a person plays a big role towards making the other feels comfortable around him or her...

Now about life, well people have their own views about life and the purpose of it...
I believe that we humans should love each other, care about each other and be good to each other and work for the best of our species to evolve and continue our long journey in this mysterious universe, if god wanted us to have limits than he wouldn't have given us the most complicated machine in the universe which is our brain, he wants to know the truth and wants us to know how important we are to him, also wants to show us that even we are very little in size compared to the big things that are found in the universe but we can be very powerful!
Yet he still wants us to be humble and good to each other...

Well that depends on what your defining as real and truth. Objective truth an always be known, you can observe it. As it pertains to people, well what is the real them? I would say its their actions, a person can claim to be x or y but their actions determine whether or not their claim is true or not. So in that respect, yes I think you can know the real them (maybe not every single fascit of them but for the most part yes).

As for "real" well, I am reminded of the book, "The things they carried" by Tim O'Brien. His whole book was about what is real and what is not and some times "story truth" was more real then the real truth (takes place in and during the vietnam war, highly recommend it). It it he has fake stories but the point they make is real. For example he states how the real truth was that a man threw himself on a grenade and saved his platoon, but the story truth was that a man threw himself on a grenade, and it killed him and his platoon, and as he lay dying one of them men who is bleeding out beside him says,"well, it was a nice try", he responds, "story of my life". The story one is fake, but is more "real" because it more closely reflects reality (its a much more probable scenario and points out that heroic efforts don't usually end well despite good intentions in real life). In short, we impart real morals and values with "fake" stories.

So how is that something that relates to "real truth"? well the truth is objective, all else is perspective, so what is "real" beyond perspective depends on what you can garner from it, what lessons it imparts etc. It is true that you will die and disappear. Its also true that you won't die as your genes live on in your children, fragments of your mind/personality live on in those you have interacted with, befriended, made enemies with, and raised. Which is true? Well both, but which one you decide is "real", that is aligns with your perceptions of reality is up to you.

So it all depends on how your defining "real" and "truth".

I think there is accepted and preferred truth.

I think I will say it this way, there is comfort truth.

Truths that make us happy by beileving them like choosing to beileve in santa claus or that fruits kill Cancer. It does not matter if other people don't believe it, it means something to us.

I think overall, we decide our own truth for ourselves. It's how we get through life. Having a mother that died while all others say she hated you, you choose to believe she loved you and you use her a guide in your life, if this mentality is helping you, why get rid of it, simply to prove that it is not true.

Another great example, a patient with memory problems says her dead husband is coming to see her soon, do you tell her he is dead or allow her to believe her truth as she sees it in the moment.

I think there are simply some truths that may only be true to us yet help to give us a positive purpose and meaning for our lives.

As long as those truths do not seek to harm ourselves or others, I don't see what the harm in holding to those truths can do

God is a man made concept as is religion. Religion runs in families for the most part. All it takes is an intelligent person to see that. It differs in every culture. Ancient Greeks genuinely believed in Zeus and the Greek gods. Ancient Egyptians believed in Ra and other gods with animal faces. Christians believe in Jesus. Hindus believe in hundreds of gods. Hawaiians believe in gods for every aspect of nature. The list goes on. The one thing that many religions have in common is there is an afterlife. People fear not existing after death. Religions generally play on peoples fears to form groups that come together for a purpose. In old days when religion was in its developmental stages, people always used the name of god to instill fear in others and do something or not do something. I would argue in times of chaos, when peoples sense of morality was questionable, religion was almost necessary to bring order. If you read the bible or any ancient scripture, you'll find parts that scream questionable sense of morality. Nowadays with all the information at your fingertips, there is no place for religion or gods. I will say that I myself am not atheist, but rather agnostic because I believe there are things that we don't understand. I believe some people are reincarnated. There are many stories of it and it is an accepted concept in psychology as many children seem to remember details of their past lives up until a certain age. But that's a whole other story.

Truth can only be real. There is no such thing as "fake truth." Thus, saying "the real truth" is redundant. To answer the question though, yes, the truth can always be uncovered. To determine if something is true, simply gather evidence relevant to it and determine if it reaches its conclusion. To do so, consider all other possibilities and try to eliminate (or confirm) each of those other possibilities in a scientific and logical way. Regarding people, it depends on what we want to know about people. We can uncover the true nature of certain people by conducting our own investigations. Regarding God, it depends on your religion and how it defines God. Regarding life, we can study biology and conduct scientific experiments in a controlled and rational way to learn new things. However, the most important thing to know is that we don't always have access to the truth when we want it. Thus, we should never fill that void with a false belief because of a desire to have all the answers. I think that's the problem with a lot of people today and it makes us delusional. Instead, we should always feel comfortable admitting that we don't know certain things until we learn more and uncover more information.

What exactly is the truth? Can we even comprehend the truth?

What if I tell you life isn't actually whole? It's like a series of images flashing from one moment to another.

What if I tell you that any lake, sea or water can and will explode at some point? In fact, they managed to prove it with math.

What if I tell you reality is actually smaller and bigger than we know at the same time? Imagine a shadow on the wall. It's 2-dimention. A large tube in 3-dimention can look like a tiny round ball on the wall. What about something incredibly huge in 5-dimension? What does it look like to us?

Maybe everything in the whole universe isn't actually what they are but only like that shadow on the wall. A distorted image!

The truth is very simple. The trouble is what we do when we get our hands on it. For most people the truth isn't good enough. Like when you get caught lying and someone calls you out on it. If you immediately tell them the truth afterwards they still think your lying. People breeze over the truth in search for a greater plot all the time. Smell the flowers whail you can, there's no other smell like it anywhere els in the universe. If that doesn't fill you with wonder and joy for existing then you're missing the whole point.
