Crazy how some people are against even cathartic cursing like that 🤔 cursing that can help relieve stress. And stress kills some could say it preserves life in a way.
I thought flatmates were roommates, oh, their different. Flatmates for when your sharing a flat but roommates for when your only sharing one room, oh.
@hhH2traveler at least for me that's what a roommate and a flatmate is.
roommates just mean you're sharing a space. And that space is usually a home with many bedrooms.
That's a flatmate for me. A roommate is someone you share the same room with.
Well here in the USA, we don't call it flatmate

And there is profanity
Thanks Jamie for like!
Yah, i respect other peoples right to curse, but I dont curse a lot myself.
If it is just that this roommate does not like to hear people in person use profanity, that seems quite pleasant to me since I tend to prefer the same (I don't mind using/hearing profanity, but only use profanity as a way to adapt to the informalities of a situation). If they genuinely have a strong distaste for it in any form and only like, say, G/PG-rated movies and television, that would be kind of annoying to me.
But if this is a zero tolerance rule that comes with a lecture or scolding if it happens, then no.
@foodtv did i say something wrong we used to talk
My friend I met in College is from Chester, and he does not believe in swearing?
@Laciandmaci right. It's almost as if I'm joking.
