Canadians get mixed up for American? but how? They say About very different and many other words... enough for it to be a whole running joke on south park.
@Kaneki05 False.I, like almost all Canadians, pronounce the word about like any normal English speaker.Same as other 'oo' words. But for the purposes of enjoying South Park, I'll acknowledge that we do say 'eh' a lot, eh. And when there's a Moose loose aboot the hoose, all hell is loose, eh.
Hmm i watch something on youtube 2 best friends one is candian and one is American it's pretty easy to tell them apart when they say words due to that.. and it sounds really odd to me. So i don't think Canadians do. Then watched stuff like trailer park boys and damn there words are said so differently. But you been Canadian yourself probably means you won't notice it i am guessing.
@Kaneki05 2 things.1: Hollywood is not a good standard for how Canadians sound. 'Cause you know, Hollywood is in AMERICA.2: YouTube is where you go to get educated, yes.I will concede that in the more remote towns (plentiful in this fucking absurdly massive nation) and Northern Territories (which are basically hick town), yes, there are "stereotypical Canadian rednecks".For the most part, do you like Ryan Reynolds?Does he sound Canadian?K. Well, Ryan Reynolds is a pretty good example of how pretty much 75% of this nation's population sounds. The rest are either French or hicks as explained.Ryan Gosling also sounds sort of like most Canadians and is even from the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) but the thing about him is he kind of sounds slightly weird because he has this unique accent that he picked up as a kid because he specifically wanted to be unique-sounding when he entered show business. It's like he sounds mostly normal and just has a slight tinge of "wtf is that accent?". It's actually almost like a really toned down New York or Chicago accent tbh.
wait you think Ryan Reynolds don't sound weird? he 100% does. And yes i do use a thing filmed in Canada with Canadian actors as a good source of the accent, aswell as youtube when it is legit just a 2 bestfriends who chill out and play a game together so he's not exactly playing it up, he's just talking casually.
@Kaneki05 How does Ryan Reynolds sound weird? He sounds like every American out there.I lived in Vancouver (where he's from) it's literally like you could STEP to the border from South Delta.
nah he don't same with a lot of Canadian actors, longs if there not actually changing it for the thing there in very well. It's always stands out to me. And well i am not sure how close the place is really matters. Since here in england, it's not really all that big and is easy to travel and be close to a different place here which have a completely different accent and even different words altogether as in slang. And they can be literally boarding each other.
Oh yeah the age sounds like 18 to 20ish.
Indian would never of expected that, remind me to only date Indians lol
Ahaha I don't think it's commen for Indians to sound the way I do though. At least not with the accent part
yeah maybe not. wish all did though.
Forgot the other part. 18/19 I wager

You do sound younger, I can picture your voice narrating a documentary or other public speaking. I could literally listen to your voice for hours.
Nah, that's okay xD
Yeah 𝐡𝐮𝐧 ☺️
I was trying not to be loud cause I didn't want to wake up my roommate. But maybe I'll update the question when I can, with a recording of me talking louder
My roommate was sleeping, I didn't want to wake him up so I didn't talk that loud
