Do you believe in an alien life, somewhere, in our "known universe" ?

Alien life? Yes, and they live among us! I have deciphered some of their language and mannerisms but much of what they do is still a mystery to me. The most amazing part is that not only do they live among us but they also look similar to you and me, except that they have two appendages on their chest and they are missing some anatomy between their legs.

Well yes.
Firstly, we know there has been life on Mars. So life on other planets does not seem so implausible.
But I suspect you are referring to intelligent life. If the universe is as vast as we think it is, it is very probable there is other life. Reaching it might be challenging though.
Of course, a third and more interesting possibility is that intelligent life has found us already. It has choosen to not show itself to let us evolve (much as we might with wild animals) or is interacting with us in way no one / few can detect.

I don't believe there are aliens, in that it hasn't been proven there are and no specific aliens have been observed. But I don't believe there are not aliens, since it also has not been proven there are not aliens. So basically I don't believe there are or aren't since it's not possible to say.

It's interesting. The universe is so vaste it's impossible to fathom the real amount of planets that could harbour life. They estimated that there are at least
10 billion billion stars. Each of these stars could have one or more planets... It reminds me of a beautiful meme.

If you mean "known universe" by our current knowledge of the universe that no. But if you mean living on planet orbiting a star we know of that yes much of it would be very simple.

As for intelligence life you look at the Fermi paradox and the drake equation.

I mean the probability of us being alone is is way smaller than the probability of their being others.

After all if you put a group of ants in a box at birth they will grow up thinking they're the only creatures in the universe yet here we are. Just because we haven't seen them yet doesn't mean they don't exist.

The universe is still expanding, according to studies.
There are BILLIONS of solar systems other than Sol, and just as many galaxies other than the Milky Way.
To even believe we are the only sentient species in existence is extremely, EXTREMELY dumb.

I am of the opinion that the probability of life occurring from non-life is about zero; That's like 1 divided infinity; possible but so improbable that it only occurred on earth and we were incredibly fortunate. Therefore, almost certainly life doesn't exist elsewhere in the universe.

well... probabilities of we being the only ones is like 1 divided in any posible habitable world, discover or not jet. so that is actually the lowest despite no life at all. so yes somewere someone in our universe could be making himself the same question. Other think is if they can travel here... that is more debatable. we dont really know how to travel outside our solar sistem in a afordable timeframe.

It would be totally arrogant to believe that in the millions of galaxies there is not another planet that is capable of supporting life. It may not be life as we know it, but it will be intelligent and able to replicate. It may be advanced, or more primitive, but there is life out there
