Which type of villain do you find more interesting?

CelineBV
When it comes to villains and their backgrounds, which do you think?

- The reformed villain (ex: Iago the parrot from Aladdin) who was on the dark side but then allies with the good side. Cinderella's stepsister Anastasia is another example. She changes for the better in the later sequels.

- The former friend (ex: Lux Luthor was Clark's friend) who started as good but then turned into the permanent villain.

- The abused/betrayed villain (ex: Maleficient being betrayed by her childhood friend and had her wings cut) who was a good person but either early abused or a deep betrayed hardened then so badly and they became villains.
Cannibal Lector is another example. During WWII, his parents got killed. Then he witnessed his little sister getting killed and eaten by Nazi collaborators; him being just a kid then.

- Villain evil to the core (ex: Cruella de Vil murdering her father and 2 stepfathers as a kid for thrills) is the one without any background at all, who was raised right and is simply a psychopath from the beginning.
