I have seen 40 yr old people switch careers go to school and learn and be on track in 2 years..
I come from field of crypto currency this field didn't existed before 2016..
any one above age of 40 in this field went back to school to learn programming and stuff after age of 40 and joined this field in last 5 years..

u Not too old at all. Many people have one career decide to make a change, and return to school when they are older. She wll not be alone. When I started law school, the average age of my class was 31; about half of the class was 21-23, and the other half was between 30 and 60 years old.
Nope it's a great age. My parents want to start school too after me and my sister grow up and become independent. My mom will be around 48 years and my dad will be 54 years by then. So yeah if they don't feel discouraged then your sister shouldn't too as it is the perfect time actually. The Chairman of the school I studied in also started the school when he was 47 years.
I’m really glad she’s having the chance for a fresh start. It sounds like she’s getting a lot healthier, mentally. 34 is older than normal, of course, but it’s not too bad of an age to start school.

It’s never too late to go back to school. I’m 31 with no current plans. I have a solid career now but I will probably feel like shifting gears over the next several years and go back to school in my mid-30’s. Im sure there are a lot of people in the same boat. As a bonus it may also help her meet new friends, just make sure she watches out for predatory student loans.
nope. its rare but you do occassionally have 40 plus year olds go to college and get a degree. back near the turn of the mellinium there was a media report of a woman about 60 to 80 (can't recall which) who started taking college for very 1st time. as well you have some people with a degree go back much later for a higher degree or one in a new area.
If she wants to get a degree that means she can't afford to slack off. She has to hit the ground running. And it probably means she will have to be a part time student and part time employed. As college ain't cheap no more.
People go back to school ALL of the time no matter there age. I can't tell you how many people I know went back for their MD or PhD in their 30's 40's 50's 60's. Its very normal, especially in higher education.

You're never too old to increase your knowledge through education. When I was in college (my early 20s), there was a 40-something guy (retired from the military) in the same engineering program I was in; we graduated together.
No, it is never too late. Never stop learning, either. Once you have that certificate or diploma, no 9ne can take then away. All good for improving your job prospects!

Studying has no age. Anyone can enroll in school and study at any age. But finding a job is a difficult process. Unfortunately, most employers especially prefer young workers. But I appreciate your elder sister's effort. A very good choice.

Of course not, a lot of people study during their 40s or 50s because they didn't get the chance before. As long as she has the interest and motivation to do it I'm sure she can do well
