What do you think these passages are talking about?

1.) Draws up the drops of water, which distills as rain to the streams; the clouds pour down their moisture and abundant showers fall on mankind.

Has something to do with rain?

2.) The earth from which food comes, is transformed below by fire; sapphires come from it's rocks and it's dust contains nuggets of gold.

3.) It rises at one end of the skies and makes it's circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat.
