So Miss Sally you really overheard that? lol well I never assume too much about a woman over 30 because many women are doing things later in life and putting off families and husbands.

Usually the people that slob over me are women who just turned 30. I doubt they're being picky!

I wouldn't say we view those women as too picky or too arrogant. It's more a matter of their priorities and what they care about. Women who have made it to their 30s and are still single because they were focused on their careers are _generally_ (there are exceptions) not the kind of women most men are attracted to. Despite all the rhetoric to the contrary, men do still look for different things in a woman than women look for in a man. We always will because we are wired that way.
because such women have experience they are mature and can tell a good guy from a jerk...it's harder for guys to take advantage of a woman over 30...hence the hate towards women over 30...

I don't need to be in a relationship. I want one though, but not enough to jump in a haff a$$ one. I'd rather be alone than with someone I don't really want or see my self with long term. That's just me though. I've had opportunities but knew they weren't right for me. I don't care if people think I'm "too picky" I'm free to be in a relationship or not, just like them. I don't judge them so they shouldn't judge me.

The difference is because if you are a woman, the men will come to you.
If you are a man and focus solely on your career then it is very easy to never be approached by a woman and be alone.
I think the idea is if you're a woman it means you've been turning down interested men; but if you're a man there has been nobody to reject.
Is that such an absurd assumption? Take a moment to count the number of men you've asked out, divide that by the number of men who have asked you= what do you get?

That's just how some guys think. A lot of women view a man that is in his 30's, never married and no kids as a loser and that he has nothing to offer and possibly gay.
By the age of 30 all the good ones are taken, and what you have are the left overs

I think society as a rule has women in a box of sorts, if you don't conform or you are a bit different you are what you mentioned above. I was being a facetious with my first comment. Men and women can be narrowminded arseholes...I look at a single older woman and I just know she is going to be interesting, original and none of us give a flying f* what narrow minded boring people think of us and the choices we have made!
Some women can be bitter jeez
