I think that is a very limited view of relationships. My former guitar teacher has been in a monogamous relationship with a woman for over 25 years. Despite the fact they never married, I think they've proven to the rest of the world that they are deeply in love and have a great thing going. And there's of course many other couples like that. Love is love. I don't have anything against marriage as I am soon getting married myself but I don't think having a slip of paper makes you feel different about your partner.
I guess. Although the idea of marriage for romantic purposes (being married because you love each other) is actually not a biblical but a very young idea (18th-19th century).
@BlueCoyote let's not get into a debate on that like typical GAGers :) if you are fine with that, fair enough. I'll stick to my way of thinking. I wish you a very happy wedding and a loving and life-long marriage and a few dozen kids that make you see what true love is :).

Lots of regular and non sexual friends give each other gifts and all that. So I think the difference is feelings and romance.
easy. a real relationship involves real feelings. you're not in love with your friends with benefits
Romantic relationships, I assume.
The difference is obvious. Provided you can handle friends with benefits, it's just sex, but since you asked, you can't handle it.
In my book, only marriage is a relationship between a man and a woman. No 2nd way around it. No exception.

@BlueCoyote It all depends on how you view religion. I'm sure you'll agree on that.

Friends with benefits : Lust
Relationships : Feelings, intimacy, romance
What does friends with benefits mean? Not all friends have money saved to have any benefits.
i think there is no difference anymore
friends with benefits - sex for money..
Sex is gross
