Is the perfect guy one who's traditionally masculine on the outside, but gentle/soft on the inside?

A little bit of a spin on the 'get you a guy who can do both' idea, I guess. Are traditional rugged manliness and heartfelt sensitivity only attractive when contrasted against the other, and are guys with only one less likely to be desirable?

  • Masculine on the outside as in being fit and buff? I'd say so yes. But I don't think girls like if a guy is too emotional. Like they like it every so often. Not enough that they get used to it and it makes them like it more when the guy does actually open up. If you eat chocolate everyday it doesn't taste as sweet as if you had a piece like once every few weeks.
