She's been really mad at me the last couple of days because I promised her to take her to a movie she been really wanting to see, but I had to cancel due to some family issues that came up. Now she's says the only way to make it up to her is to kiss her ass. I don't really want to do that because I feel like if I do whenever we have an argument she'll just use the fact that I kissed her butt against me. So should I try to find some other to make it up to her or should I just go ahead and do it?

Her demand is not cool at all. No, I don't think you should do it if you don't want to. I think you should have a serious talk about this. If you really were unable to take her she should be understanding. Her attitude seems to be that your relationship is transactional -- you do this for me and I'll do that for you. If you don't wanna do it then don't. She should understand. If she keeps on fighting then the last thing you could do is do it in a way that she will never ask you to do it again.
