I largely operate by the assumption that I can hardly know anything for sure, and certainly not the intricacies of what goes on in other people's minds. I think more in terms of probabilities than certainties. But I try not to question things or apply that skeptical mindset to things that are going really well. I just try to enjoy them. Free spirits, you know, dancing and tangling together. I value the company, and it seems to be a positive sign when they keep choosing mine. And at some point, I hope it lasts indefinitely, and it seems like it will when they seem to want the same thing. So this might sound bizarre but it's not that important to me to know my wife loves me for certain. At the end of the day she has consistently chosen my company, and I also favor hers. That's good enough for me.
Ok. I have never been in love.
