I've probably asked this before but what the heck!

What qualities make someone platonic to you and what qualities make someone romantic to you?

This is a good question. I think its all about the personality for me. I tend to be more romantically attracted to 'broken" (for lack of a better word) guys. I think it's because I have this ideal relationship in mind where me who is also "broken" can come together and we can grow together.

As for friends I like people that I feel like I can be myself around.

I recently had a dilemma where one of my guy friends told me he liked me because I started seeing another guy. I was conflicted because the other guy was being kinda wishy washy with me and there was friend who was totally into me but I didn't want to be with him. Makes no sense.

I feel like I want a relationship that challenges me to be better. Sure I want to be able to feel at home with that person but again if we can grow together I think that's a beautiful thing.

Sorry that went a little off base lol I ramble.

Platonic: Besides friendship-having interests, being able to talk to them, hang out with them, feel comfortable around, respect, listen, etc. along with hugs, cuddles, massages, and holding hands.
Romantic: Being more than just best friends. Similar to platonic except things like romance, love, dates, kissing/make out, more intimacy, etc. can take place. As well as getting to know them on a much higher level then what I already know and like about them as a person.

I’m not sure that there are qualities for me at least that make men platonic to me vs romantic? Is that bad lol? It’s just like.. I guess I try to be friends with the guy beforehand platonically so that then I can form romantic qualities that I see from them. There’s not really something that makes me automatically go romantic! Maybe if the guy shares the same political party as me that’s a dealbreaker it matters to me the most

In fact since most women don't show intetest in me it's real easy since it's a well worn road. But honestly i don't put a lot if thought into it. Because if she was really interested in being something other than my friend she'd let me know.

How do men feel about this kind of objectification? What do you mean? Clarify if you would. Me objectifying her? Or her objectifying me?

Well my comment wasn't strictly tied to your comment, it was sort of a loose association.
But you saying she wants your cock, COULD mean that she's most interested in that tool of yours. (I don't think you meant it that way, but this is my word association.) I'm interested in how much/often/how many guys like the idea of being a sex object to a woman. In your scenario she could be objectifying you.
I know, the ideal situation is a great woman, great relationship with her, and she desires you and your body parts specifically. But if you are a tool for her pleasure, is that good too, or do you feel a bit... used? Just curious.
I've seen men write on here that they would love to be objectified. Any amount of clear interest from women/girls would be great. But then other guys are looking for more of an emotional connection, a bond, that isn't about their body sexually.
