Think before you speak in texts. Mmm I tried that and I sent some msgs n I tried to break my phone so they won't send
I feel the same way. It's much better for us introverts to gather our thoughts and express them nicely, instead of saying something when we're feeling nervous and awkward
Honestly, I prefer audio calls on the usual because I can say more in a less amount of time and also get that flow of conversation with the other person, but I do think that the text is better for the part of gathering my thoughts and expressing them without mistakes
@Brainsbeforebeauty Oh I figured you were more of a talker, no surprise there! Lol
@RemoErdosain Exactly! If I'm nervous or don't know the person well, it's harder for me to eloquently say what's on my mind or how I'm feeling. Or worse, I talk really fast making it harder for people to understand me.
@Cynicaldreamer is that your polite way of saying I talk too much 🤣🤣 can't deny it, you right 🤣🤣
@Brainsbeforebeauty Yes ma'am! But I meant it in the nicest way! LOL. I can tell you're 100 percent extroverted, even on here
🤣🤣🤣 wait tho, is that a compliment or insult? Nevermind, I'm so hard up either way I'll take it 🤣🤣🤣
🤣 I swear I didn't say a word!
I'm going to let you live in ignorant bliss; it's better that way, LOL

@Jamie05rhs I prefer it in person if we are close by. If we are out of state that's another story. Plus, is the context of this coming from just in general or to man and woman in a relationship?
My answer was based under the belief on the latter because of the relationship category.
I was seeing it as a male-female relationship as well.
And I also prefer hanging out in person! But you can't do that all the time, for practical reasons (even if you live in the same city.)
@ShadezMcgee I agree, I prefer real interaction, but when that's not possible prefer call to text
Because after I read it, it didn't make any sense haha. Sometimes my mind will go faster than I type so there will be missing words and stuff 🤣🤣
Lololol my issue is I swype instead of type and don't always catch the stupid autoincorrect till after hit submit cuz also have bad eyes lololol... Hence the time tried typing peanut butter, but what sent was penis butter 🙄🤦
This here!! Agree 💯 And it's sad cuz I think it breaks down real communication
So then do you prefer in person or by text?
But.. In person you sounds like me exactly 😂😂
And that's why I prefer actually talking to text. I agree it's too easy to misconstrue. And sometimes things get left unsaid that probably need to be said...
Really? For me it's the opposite, I can put phone on speaker and still be cooking, doing the dishes, other things, but texting you have to be using your hands, read the text and then type a reply, that's too much and takes longer than just saying it
Well see now that's where we differ lol
Mine would be face to face, then talk, then text
I know mam, and yours is a better choice too but I don't know why I can't talk on phone.
Every time I try I start laughing.😅😅
Well either you're right or we both wrong lololol cuz I totally agree with you
The talk is ok except when its moving towards to much anger Things can go wrong and wrong things can be said Text can avoid this
@Brainsbeforebeauty I think it is easier to be more open, more honest, in text messages, than in person. I know, it seems like some cowardly BS, but sometimes the text is the 'wedge' that breaks the ice, and forces the conversation that is needed!
I think I'm the opposite, I think I say more but actual conversation than text
I guess I'm just more into actual convo, actual voice, actual shared laughter verses LOL😂
Oh don't get me wrong I like to talk and so much can get misinterpreted through text.. but unless I have bluetooth I would rather text because I don't like holding the phone to my ear.
True... ok I'm depends on if I feel like actually talking... you dragged it out of me... Lol
👍 same here, I don't get this text only as communication, and think it breaks down real communication and more chance of misunderstandings arising
To be fair, I try to avoid most social interactions, with a text I can make sure I don't say something stupid and I can plan my responses
I text when long or serious convos, But I only call If doing somethings and I can’t text Ex. driving, cleaning etc..
😂 well I'm not a guy, but I say less by text cuz I'd rather have a real actual convo
Lololol I rather talk then text, so yeah I say less by text... And I feel there's certain serious convos that should be fine by actual convo preferably in person but least by phone versus text
Right! I agree... That's why I don't get why so many people seem to use that as main way to communicate... To me that breaks down real communication an be sometimes can create misunderstandings
