For me he can’t disrespect me or take my enemies side in a fight or tell me my feelings don’t matter or go more than 48 hours without messaging me and he has to go out of his way to support me through all major life events like a family tragedy or a health crises or a professional advancement or a graduation - he has to be interested in my life but still have his own life and spend quality time with me but also give me space - he has to have a sense of accountability towards me and our family and have a positive and non abrasive attitude - I also want a guy whose capable of happiness and leisure but nothing too expensive or indulgent

I don't think I've ever explicitly defined them. Maybe my past relationships would have worked out better if they did, but maybe it's good that I didn't, because I ended up with my with whom I didn't need to in the first place.
