  Well, let's take a scenario of surviving on an island together. If I wanted to optimize my chances of survival, I'd hardly take my wife. She would be a burden in that way. I'd take a strong man who has lived in the wild before. But if I'm optimizing based on not feeling alone, she'd be my top pick. Maybe we'll die together.
