If they cheat it's because their husband is no longer giving them that thrill and excitement and is making this marriage more like a convenience, not love and happiness. They go on for years and it's like a fun rollercoaster then he feels content, she's cooking, cleaning, having dinner ready when he comes home, she goes to work her shifts and it becomes more of a norm as their in their middle ages and she feels lost and stuck what to do, so she tries to get her willpower back and look for something new and exciting which would be a "younger guy"someone fresh and full of life, unlike her husband who likes the same routine and she gets into the unknown warp and cheats because she needs to feel that void. My view may not be completely accurate but i think most of the time this is why but it's fucked up to cheat and i dont even know why people marry if they don't wanna try.
My ex cheated on me because that is how she handled it. I was not bowing down to her and her kids.. she demanded to be in charge of everything and control everything. Including things that belonged to me before we were married.
I would never get tired of my husband, im just saying i feel like its a common norm that women do that and get tired of the same old, same old. But if you truly love someone, you'll NEVER dare do that.

There is NEVER an excuse to cheat, that excuse is one that i see a lot of girls using, and thats just narcissistic and selfish, thats the main reason i lost my will of getting married, women need to understand that men lose libido/ get weaker erections with age, would you like if a guy said: 'reason why men cheat, is because wife stopped working out, and because of all the stress from work, so well, one thing led to the other, with a couple of friends on a strip club...' @AFellowWeeb I've been cheated on in mostly all my relationships:( probably only 2 i didn't get cheated on. In high school i really just went for any guy because i was the outcast, but that led me nowhere and most of them cheated or left me for another girl except my last ex in high school who was a loyal guy. I despise of anyone who cheats and thinks it's okay to take that way out and its a coward move when you can just break up with the person instead! People are so complicated and immature. The reason i stated this opinion is because i think it's pretty common in a marriage or if not similar. People fail to realize love isn't gonna be rush of fun 24/7, you have to work as a team, you have to work to make money to have and do things together, and have priorities, its part of life. If they really can't handle that or feel the boredom they shouldn't be in a relationship especially get married. Marriage is a life long commitment and it's such a phony move to cheat especially in marriage. Relationships too but literally marrying that person and having an affair is such a foul move. I know when i marry, i want that guy for life and before i dare hurt anyone, Ill make sure he is THE ONE because nobody deserves that heartache of being the other guy and girls dont deserve to be a side piece. Good people deserve loyalty, cheaters deserve the karma that'll come back.

Men and women cheat for different reasons. It used to be (on the whole) that men cheated to get sex and women cheated for validation or for something they weren't getting at home.

Yeah, lots of them do unfortunately. Marriage is not as easy as it is on tv and people do some messed up stuff. I'm not saying to never get married. I was married and I don't regret it, but don't get too comfortable and always take care of yourself and put away some money just for you and your kids in case she cheats and takes off one day. It's just how it goes.

No, this is not true, and no statistics will support this. The fact is - and you're not going to like this - is that men are often the ones responsible for cheating in their middle-aged years. We all know women lose their desirability in later years, and in later years of marriage things become boring. This is a recipe for most men to be looking for a younger woman.
I'm not saying women don't cheat in their middle-aged years - but it's not most, and it's certainly not more than their men of the same age range. After divorces, men also have an easier time finding a new partner than their ex-wives.
If anyone challenges this, information and statistics are easily searched online, and most will say the same thing - with slight differences in percentage points, but still leaning toward the same information.
If you're afraid to marry one day, don't let this false information be one of the reasons for it.
I agree except about women losing their desirability. Women who don't give up after kids have them growing sideways and downwards get better with age.

It has nothing to do with age range if cheating is gunna happen you can't predict when and at what age someone might do it. i If you want to prevent it though try to always communicate openly with your partner. Itll tell you if they are losing interest or if a problem is afoot.

It's a stretch to say ALL women cheat. But all women go rhrough that "slut phase". It usually coincides with her hitting a milestone of 30 or 40. And she has to prove to herself she's still desirable. With SOME women that can be accomplished simply with attention they get in flirting. But some women need more validation.

I doubt that "most" do. It's pretty common in military families and probably anywhere else where at least one spouse is frequently gone for extended periods, but that's a minority of married families.
There are more reasons than that to fear marriage. Never get married for one. If you do, never marry an American woman. odds are you’ll end up divorced and she and (the law) will steal everything you have worked for.
