Do you think that an ex deserves a second chance after a breakup?

I am at parents house to spend my vacation with them and I figured that they told my ex to come and stay with us. My kids are very happy to see him and he brought us gifts and the chocolate I love. Seems like he changed a bit since high school. Things are awkward but I see that he is trying hard by making up for his past mistakes, and my kids are happy that first time that we are all together as a family.

If he's made no move to reconcile with you, more than likely he simply wants to see his children.
He probably likes your parents, and since they are the grandparents, he also wants to make sure he has good relations with them. He may have to pick up the kids from their house from time to time.
I don't hear anything from you about him asking for a second chance, or why you broke up with him in the first place. I also don't hear you making any statements about him contacting you or what he's done that shows he's changed.
So, I have no information to go on.

I feel like if he didn't do something terrible like cheat on you, abuse you, or do something horrible to the kids in any sense and you still have feelings for him and feel that connection and see the good, yes he deserves a second chance and you should follow your heart and do what's best for your kids and you. It's beautiful to see both parents together honestly but you have to feel that love and happiness within your heart too for you all. I wish you luck ❤

Aww you're welcome. Yeah things happen in life. Sometimes we have to go separate ways and things get in the way. It's sad :( but at least you both ended on good terms. I bet your children are delighted to have a good mom and dad in their life and at least he makes a effort to show he cares about you all still. I would take it slow girl and see what happens. It's completely fine if you need time to think but take your time and maybe catch up with him for lunch or something if you'd like and talk, feel the energy but i have faith things will fall in place for you and your children😇

Depends on the reason you broke up mam, if it was mutual and you both loved eachother but things didn't work out then yes but if he did something wrong and broke up with him then you must see that whether you trust him enough to give a second chance or do you believe he has changed enough to be given a second chance.

If he's really changing and he's being honest about holding responsibilities and doing his role as man than you should give him chance, at least he is the real father of your kids, every person needs another chance, only if they are honest and have truly changed...
