If the relationship is right should you still get nervous butterflies or should you feel so comfortable and content they go away?

I’ve heard conflicting opinions and want to know what you think! Some people I’ve spoke to say they think the butterfly nervous feeling should always be there as it highlights your excitement for the person but others have said when that feeling disappears and you feel nothing but utterly comfortable with a person do you know you’re with the right person. What do you think?

Butterflies have more to do with the newness of the situation than whether you're with the right person. In general, they will subside as the two of you become familiar with each other (no matter what quality exists in the relationship). The butterflies can return when you are either anticipating or experiencing something special in the future. Never use them to judge the actual relationship.

I go by, if it's the right thing or person your heart will show it. I mean butterflies do too, but that deals with the whole emotions i think, I do get pretty excited and show my happness real quick lol. Both are true tho!
