Because hevs actually not ready for settlement as he believes he is.
Maybe his family environment and friends pressure him with questions asking him when he will settle and such...
It's alright to not be ready but it's very wrong to go to big decisions like marriage without being ready. It involves money, devotion, time, compromise, patience, love, and responsibility.
If some of those are missing, he should stick to being single or he'll be hurting his future wife, wasting both their lives, and up with a divorce wondering if he's just a loser... Rush harms a lot especially in such situations.

Asker: Don’t do it, once guys label you as having no self respect or integrity, men will only perceive you as a side piece... not even valuable enough to be proposed to and then cheated on. Then the bottom feeders will chase you, because they think you’re an easy catch (as shown above). The man who is wanting to cheat on his wife clearly isn’t a quality guy. What would that make you if you’re willingly used by someone who isn’t of quality?

It depends entirely on what she's looking for. If it's a long term relationship with this guy then I agree--not a great idea. But that is by NO MEANS obvious from QAs question and seems less likely to be the case if you read her discussions. But if it IS the case, then I agree that pursuing this guy isn't a great idea. HOWEVER, if what she's looking for is a fun, hot no-strings-attached scenario, then this makes a lot more sense. My sense from what she's said is that QA is looking for the latter.
