If it can be even called a relationship. A relationship in this term: "We were never nothing but there was always something"

I dont think this applies to friends with benefits it has to be something else

In chess... similar to a checkmate.. it’s also considered game over (a draw), but with a stalemate you’re able to move your piece back and forth to avoid check, but you’ve run out of moves that could progress the game any further.

As for the pun: It sounds as if you’re dealing with a “stale mate.” No progress.

More often than not, if a man wants to pursue you further, you wouldn’t have to guess or look for clues. The situation sounds very lukewarm, since you haven’t said anything that has made me believe that more is desired equally from both parties yet. Strike up a conversation with him by confessing how you feel if clarity is what you need. Only he knows how he feels, after all.

He knew I liked him and we hang oout a few times for lunch and twice for sex but I jsut wanted to know about how you call a relationship i posted if it was just a connection not really a relationship or just some sort of chemistry even if it was never serious. I just wonder for the way he behaved towards me and understand him more. Now is too late, the guy passed away July of last year.
