How do I stop being a jealous girlfriend?

Question

I have been in a relationship for three months. We are happy, he is trustworthy and he doesn’t text or have any girls on his phone. Even though he’s perfect I’m still super controlling about the girls on his phone and I delete all girls on his social media. I know this isn’t right but I have had cheating ex boyfriends and abusive relationships in the past so I don’t know how to fix myself and my jealousy. Please help.

The reason you are jealous is because you don't trust him enough. If there is mutual trust between the both of you, there is no need to be jealous. Without trust, your relationship is doomed from the start.

How to stop being jealous?
1: Talk to your partner about how you feel about him havbing contact with other girls.
2: Set some booundaries in the relationship, what do you and your boyfriend consider cheating? If you'v e set some boundaries, stick to it and don't cross the boundaries.
3: Communicate with each other about your feelings, fears anxieties etc, be open and vulnerable. Trust can't be build without being vulnerable with each other, and being vulnerable is not possible if you don't trust each other, be vulnerable with each other to create trust.
4: Do things with each other to build trust in your relationship (activities, execises and techniques to build trust).
5: Overcome your anxiety and insecurities. Find friends or family member who can help you with that. You can consider going to therapy.

You need to fix it yourself cuz he’s obviously not the issue but you seem like you’ve been hurt before in some cases but I’d recommend you to say good things about yourself and think of yourself highly. Don’t feel insecure and he seems rlly loyal so far and trust me I’ve been there and like me being more relax has made the relationship slot better. Try going hiking or go to lunch with him and do activities together to get along and feel confident with him like positive active stuff. Other then that it’s like if u feel insecure work out and feel motivated. But definitely have a talk with him like how u feel and he should understand and confirm like he wants a long lasting relationship wit u n etc.

Coming from someone that's been cheated on many times I know how hard it can be to trust a new boyfriend or girlfriend. But if your aren't ready to trust again you probably shouldn't be in a relationship till you mean your self with. Your boyfriend sees it, now you just need to see it.
