What should a healthy long distance relationship look like?

I had a long distance relationship a long time ago.
We talked every day, mostly just sharing normal daily things, related to work or just life things but also romantic/sexual play about what we would do when we meet next time!
Indulged in fantasies.
Traveled to each other cities once or twice a month.
Parting was amicable and friendly, because life took us on different paths. Both walked away with a great feeling of thankfulness and affection that we experienced and shared something that was awesome!
We still stay in touch!

a long distance relationship takes lots of work. you need to talk every day and you have to dedicate at least 2 days a week, spending at least one hour talking about your current feelings and goals for your relatinship.
