What are examples of a narcissist and what are signs?

Can someone tell me some examples of a narcissist and what are the signs? I would really appreciate it. Thank you

I liked what someone told me on here. I confessed some sense of vanity and ego I had and she seemed like an expert. She said I was cocky or something but not at all narcissist. The best definition I got from her is that narcissists can never admit when they're wrong -- they can't lose -- for whatever reason -- outta pain, lack of empathy, whatever it is -- but they can't yield an inch. They always have to win or be right.

Well, I often wondered if I am a narcissist. Because I am sorta vain, and wildly ambitious and egotistical at times. But aside from experts telling me I am not, I tried this test and scored close to 0% on narcissism. It confused me -- because I seem egotistical. I sometimes admire my reflection in the mirror -- at least when I am in shape. But it seems like real narcissists don't ever want to take into account how other people feel... or ever admit they're wrong... they're like sore loser types as far as I can tell. I am vain but I have never been a sore loser -- I like losing! Because it makes me wanna train harder.

So it is like the opposite of me -- that is a narcissist. Because apparently, I am 0% narcissist. It doesn't seem like it's about vanity and ego -- I have that -- but I am 0% narcissist.

@Olivier-628 Cheers! I think I dealt with one too. But she wasn't evil or anything... maybe confused. But it's like she would shit test me -- even told me one time that she was pregant in front of all these friends. I dunno why she said that. But I was happy and confused (we used protection) and a tear came rolling down my eye and I wanted to celebrate -- but no alcohol for her, you know, she's the future mother of our children! Then she waited all this while until I had dreams of marriage and children with her to say she was just joking. Then it's like all our friends and even her own sister turned on her -- and she lashed out and ran away. And I tried to talk to her and found myself apologizing -- somehow she could always make me apologize for shit like this.

I think I got that sort of victimhood type... not the psychopathic one. She could be sweet, caring, in her good moments. But with any type of conflict -- I'd find myself tempted to apologize for things that weren't even my fault -- sometimes outright hers -- because she could never, ever, yield any ground... maybe it was too painful for her to ever admit she could also be at least slightly in the wrong.
