Life in prison and no less than 25 years if he changed and regrets what he had done... The girl should get care all her lifetime from the goverment and a monthly income to buy her necessities... With the advancement of technology, they should always keep her updated to any resolution that can make her see again and her surgery should be for free which means paid by the government...
Her daughter should be taken care of until she reaches 18..
The scholars should learn to what makes someone committs such a horrific act so that they be able to reduce such acts or eliminate them in the future...
While I agree that the perpetrator should be punished, I do not fully agree on the government having to settle the costs as you describe them.
The government taxes = the people's taxes = your taxes. Therefore, you want that all Lebanese citizens pay for the consequences of the crime of a person. Knowing that there is such a terrifying high crime rate in Lebanon and if we take your example, a very large percentage of your own taxes would go towards settling the costs of victims of criminals.

In my country there are financial crisis that started a year ago and these days people can't even get treated in a hospital so such plans are very hard to establish at the moment, i also have never heard about such a plan worldwide, maybe because the governments around the world doesn't cares much about it's citizens...
Even if such plans cannot be done, there are a lot of rich people who might help, if we gather money to help such people with severe cases we would be doing something good as humans!

Again, I agree on the principle of people helping people.
However, rich people don't get rich because they spend their wealth helping others but because they step on others to get rich. That is the problem of our society.
@SueShe i agree with you, i'm not rich, i'm just a middle class citizen and i try to help as much as i can, if the majority of people tries to help in just a small amount that won't affect their financials at all, they would helping others who are in need a lot!
If i was rich, a millionaire or a billionaire, i'll spend the majority of my money on making a lot of people happy again and help the families who truly needs help because what's the use of the money if i can't help others and make them happy, also make them feel that some people are still humans and that someone cares about them...
Helping those who really needs help makes me happy and that's what god wants us to do!
That is a noble thought of yours but you are pretty much alone with your dream. Compared with the number of millionaires/billionaires, you can count on the fingers of one hand how many actually spend most of their wealth helping others compared to those that promise they will but end up doing nothing.
@SueShe that's the big issue, people talks and promises a lot but in the end they won't do a thing... You need the people to talk about you and not YOU talking about yourself, let your actions speaks for you...
Some people use their money so that they can have control over people or you have to follow them cause they helped you, that's a big mistake!
You cannot help the people to make them your own property, your helping people because you want to see them good and happy, when you help someone, don't wait something in return from them or to put rules to help them...

The rule of law matters so I would go with that. But if your asking what I would like to do to people like that, well I would probably come off as a psycho as well. Sadly people like this are a dime a dozen. Three men were in a rap battle and got beat by a girl, so they gang raped her and then set her on fire. Their was a serial killer and his girlfriend who would kidnap children and rape and torture them, but the worse part was that they would record them, tell them to beg their parents to save them for any one to save them then they would kill the little girl or boy.
So I won't say what I would do to these people, but I can guarantee you that I would be a lot more creative with their suffering then they were and I would make it last a lot longer.

I'll be honest here. I don't know if these women have any brains, or if they are desperate, when they go with these men who do this stuff. You would think there would have been other instances of abuse before it came to this. Yet these women stay and put their lives and children's lives in danger. I guess in a way they were lucky as many are killed, not just maimed.
Being desperate causes it. Its like when you are hungry, something you normally won't eat but you have to because you feel so weak and desperate for food, while on the contrary when you have plenty of all kinds of food you like, you tend to ignore it.

So you are one of the bleeding hearts and are excusing yourself from the jury. What if someone did that to your daughter and grand kid? Or would you be the same? Even God had the Israelites kill truly evil people less they have offspring.
The same about what? Just because I didn't reveal exactly how I truly feel online doesn't mean I believe he doesn't deserve to be punished. You have already found him guilty by your mentality. I say let justice take its course and see what the facts reveal. I was showing restraint about what I typed which was the equivalent of biting my tongue in Real Life.

@Daniela1982 I never was anonymous in this post. You bet wrong as well. I'm a supporter of the Death Penalty, but I do believe in providing people a Fair Trial. Accused Pedophiles have been killed based on accusations alone, and they later found out they didn't do it. I just want the facts to come out before saying this guy did it. It wouldn't bother me if this guy lost his eyesight if he is guilty of what he did. But yeah, he definitely should spend the rest of his life in prison if the evidence is overwhelming against him.
not a big fan of weird torture punishments. I believe people who get arrested like that should be working their butt off out in the community, to help make better what they have harmed.
