If someone you care about shows you shade would you lose trust in them?

Imagine you are studying and getting really good grades. Imagine the person looked shocked at first, then said wow that's really good. Followed by a smile and excitement. Would you feel odd around them?
Imagine you are creating something and told noone, but when you decide to show them they're really shocked that you created it and mention that it's too a high standard, still in shock. After a while they say they like it. Would you think they're being odd?

I can't think of any other examples...

So basically amazed that you did so well even when you worked hard and deserved it. I've had moments like that. Most of the time it feels good like I surpassed what I thought I could do but other times it feels like they are undermining me. I think you just need to know where you are, find you center and try not to let it bother you
