I think it depends on if I need to or not. Sometimes you need to other time it's good to try to keep the peace but I think for your husband it might be worth it to ruffle is feathers a little bit just until he acknowledges your presence and your difficulty. While I think it's good to talk to someone else its good to encourage and desire at least some of his support

However, in your specific situation, this is a common behavior of males in a relationship.
Males do not want to get into a confrontation with their females because, instinctively, it is something of a conflict of interest.

Personally I do not want to go around ignoring someone in my own home.. Maybe if it was an earlier stage of a relationship and one does not live together. But I do not want to live with someone who can act like that. It is not fair to other people in the household who can obviously see through the 'perfect' layer.
