Would breaking up, then being with someone as revenge count as cheating?

I've never cheated but do you think this would count as cheating. I'm going to get back at my boyfriend for the times he acted like a jerk, gave me ultimatums and said mean things.

I'm going to break up right on the 14th, then go out on a date with someone else that's been showing interest in me but I would always tell him ''no, I'm in a relationship''. He would reply with an ''ok, when you're not, let me know''.

The next plan is to take pictures of us going out on a date. Would that count as cheating still?

I like the other guy but it's a ''meh, whatever'''. I'm not that crazy about him to be honest. I'm just getting back at my boyfriend mainly.
