Just got back from another good weekend with my girlfriend. All is going very well.
I think your honest and right. I also think women have too many choices and make the bad ones too often. Okcupid did a study a while back and found the top 80% of women swipe yes to the top 20% of guys. This habit of a 2 swiping an 8 and getting laid then the man leaves makes all men look bad. I wish women would drop their standards for dating and raise their standards for marriage and sex. Dating apps not only ruined dating for average men but have created animosity between both men and women. Like you said we all long for companionship but some of us go 20 years without any form of love outside loving ourselves. It’s not enough and ide argue that promotes rape and violent crimes.
It's a tough place to be as a guy, ever waiting for a relationship while women getting tired of relationships wanting to take a break from them. A guy can't win 😞
What is a romantic friendship?
@Jamie05rhs A romantic friendship is a type of relationship between two friends. It's usually nonsexual and includes affectionate gestures like kissing, cuddling, hugging, holding hands, sharing a bed, etc.
@PBandJ_Nerd I'm sorry, but with all due respect that doesn't make any sense at all. The terms "romantic" and "friend" are mutually exclusive. If you're just friends, then that means you're not romantic. And if it's a romance, that means you're beyond being just friends.
A romantic friendship?
You mean friends with benefits?
@Uptowngirl88 She said it's nonsexual. But I don't blame you for being confused. I'm confused as well.
@Jamie05rhs yeah it makes zero sense.
Friends with Benefits is purely a sex relationship. And most often friends with benefits don't have to be friends. In a romantic friendship, you have to actually be friends. It's built on a bond as well as trust, respect, etc. As I've stated before it includes affectionate gestures and that's what makes the friendship romantic (hence the name romantic friendship).
@PBandJ_Nerd But are they "fake dating," then? Why would you put forth the effort of being romantic with someone if you are just going to remain friends? What's the point of that?
@Jamie05rhs The point of it is to get affection and intimacy. But another side to this can be learning how to be in a romantic relationship, without actually having one. Some people may not want or be ready for a romantic relationship as well, which is another purpose of this. In the end it really all depends on what a person needs. Besides, most people these days seem to be finding it hard to get a relationship and maintain it (this is probably more due to not having enough patience and giving time). But hopefully this makes more sense.
@PBandJ_Nerd Interesting...So would you be in a romantic friendship with me? On a trial basis?
@Jamie05rhs Most likely not. I'm pretty careful so I know to not let people get too near me. Especially strangers.
@PBandJ_Nerd Fair enough. No problem.
Glad im not alone lol.
@kajad1 Some life, huh?
🤣🤣🤣 most have told me yes
