My wonderful hubby bought us a day spa day just because... gotta love it when your S. O. does sweet things for ya. Had to snap a pic of Taylor in the luxurious pedi chairs.
My guy isn't a gift-giver by all means, but more of a physical affection kind of person. Whenever he initiates physical contact (grabbing by butt, hugging me from behind, kissing the top of my head/shoulders) I feel really happy and loved. He did buy me a pair of allbirds shoes out of nowhere though, and I love them to death and wear them every single day.
I'm pretty materialistic and used to always expect "surprise" gifts from him, but I did some serious thinking, even did some research on love languages. I don't spend my time waiting on or expecting a gift now, but I've learned instead to appreciate the simpler things. The best gift I could ever have is my boyfriend himself.
Not me, my primary love language is physical touch, so the only gift I need from her is to be with me (quality time, doing things together) and love me (no, it's not just about sex). If receiving gifts is what she wants the most then I'll do it for her, although I hope to find a wise girl who won't care much about physical gifts as those could take a lot of space and later become a problem, lol
Yeah, If I had a girlfriend I would love for her to do random small things for me every little thing means a lot to me no matter what it is and I would do the same in return for her

That looks amazing!! I don't currently have a partner like that but I sure look forward to having one that I can give nice things to, one day
@spartan55 Yeah. I dislike it, that love is so commercialized. Rather than being with someone they love they go and "fall in love" with those, who throw money and gifts at them.
