Is it wrong to ask someone to share our relationship status?

Question

We dated for 3 months.. she was always hot and cold.. like 4 times already.. when she got child towards me, I used to ask her why she she used to come back and she liked it when I asked her that.. got into a relationship.. I asked her whether she was sure.. she said she wanted it more than 50%.. Asked her if she'd share it with her friends.. She said yes.. Even told me that her friend told her right after when she got into a relationship.. then after a week.. I asked her can I share it with my best friends? She said yes, then after a week, she was in the middle of her college exams and on her periods.. and I just couldn't control as it's been two weeks and she hadn't told it to a single person in her life and asked her why.. She said that she was unsure and not 100% sure.. asked her when she would be.. She said she doesn't know.. asked her what can I do? Anything I can address? She broke up on call..

Did I do anything wrong? I keep wondering..

I didn't mean in the sense of putting it on social media.. I just asked her to will you at least tell your best friend about me? That's all I have asked..

She said that her best friend know about me.. But didn't want to tell her about it relationship.. as again.. Was not sure..

Well when I got in my relationship, my friends and family would know about it. About him and the other way around. If he was 'hiding' our relationship, I'd see that as a red flag. If that was the case, I would stop dating the person and look for someone else

One more question.. we talked to each other for almost an hr everyday for entire 6 months and still she wasn't sure.. So was me asking her "why isn't she yelling her friends" after two weeks into the relationship justified? I think it is as she know many things about me.. But again when I asked her why she was unsure she said she broke up with someone after getting into a relationship after 2 months and she doesn't want to.. I have no idea.. What do you think?

Your relationship is what it is. Making it "official" or some other bullshit on social media won't change anything. There is no "official" until you start planning a wedding, and being engaged or married isn't magic and won't do anything to improve a difficult relationship.

How is the relationship working for you? I'm guessing not all that well, or you wouldn't care about this.

I'm sorry. I misunderstood. If she's hiding you from all her friends that's a very bad sign. After dating a while it's normal for a couple to socialize with other friends. I would be concerned too if I were you.
