What should I do now?

My boyfriend came back at 6:30pm last night and told my we are going out for dinner at 7 and to wear something nice. We went out for dinner and we talked about what we are going to do. We decided we want to keep it if we get enough financial support. At the end of dinner he proposed to me. Of course I said yes I am so happy this happened to me. We then went to our parents houses to tell them about me being pregnant and us getting engaged. His parents did not support us at all and are very pissed that he got me pregnant. My parents were happy and understanding and they suggested they could be are financial support now me and my fiancée decided we are going to save to buy a house.

His parents are upset because you guys have barely started living as adults and now you are going to be parents yourselves.
Trust me when I tell you that being a parent at a young age is HARD. With or without the support of your families you are 100% taking your life and your dreams and putting them on a shelf for the next 18 years while you raise your kid. No (real) college experience, no parties, no experiencing all the things you are supposed to experience and get out of the way while you are young. You are now Mom and Wife.
Having given this all up myself I know what a loss it is and I know the struggle. You aren't looked at as "good" parents, people see you are dumb kids who made a "mistake" for a very long time. It sucks. And no matter how well you do for yourself you are working 10x harder than everyone else to claw your way up because you are doing it all with a baby on your hip.
I am not saying this to scare you, but rather to prepare you and let you know that this is why they are not happy for you.
I made the decision to do it anyways too. My relationship didn't last. We were young and it wasn't right but we had no time to know that beforehand. Everything I have done and accomplished today was hard-earned but I made it. Made a good life for my family. It can be done.
But it won't be easy.
You need to be sure that you are fully ready and committed to taking this on because you are going to be doing it for the rest of your life. If you are sure then fuck what anyone else thinks, as long as you are doing your all and you feel it's right then you do what you have to do.

I think you should live life and experience what you are currently experiencing. I know you are young and that might strike his parents by surprise, but you two are having a baby together and that is something you can’t change. I think it’s great he has a priority to get married to you. Just live life, his parents are angry because you are young but just prove them wrong
