Is it normal/ok for a partner to make rude comments, when do you draw the line? (Page 2)

Question

My current boyfriend of two years has always had a little habit of saying things without thinking but recently he made a couple of comments that were more personal, that I’m not a naturally caring person, I’m at the top of my priority list and he thinks I’m a taker not a giver. I was in shock when he said this as it came out of the blue but we were talking about our future and I think he got a bit annoyed because I said he’s attached to his parents, we are both late 20’s and want to move out soon but he’s very close to his parents. BUT at what point do you draw a line and say you’ve had enough of comments, I don’t want to date someone who puts me down like that, I’m not sure whether I want a future with him if it continues?

Sounds like he doesn’t see a future with you either.  Dare I say you both have some personal growth to accomplish before thinking about anything long term.

ask your friends and family if you're a taker or a giver, no context, just ask them and watch their face.

That's a red flag🆘 my wife very rude and judgmental she hid it for years. She thinks she has been cheated on life But her laziness and lying has paid her off in spades
