Because he/she's a cheater that's why. People make the foolish mistake of trying to understand what makes someone cheat. That's simple the answer is NOTHING! They were a cheater before you met them, they will be a cheater after you leave them. It's either in a person to cheat or it isn't. When they tell you why (if they tell you why), is just their excuse TO CHEAT. Not actually why they cheat.

Stop wasting your time trying to understand it. There is no understanding it.

Cheating is often caused by opportunity. It may not be planned, and the guy may just give in to his desires when the opportunity presents itself. Don't get me wrong, I am not condoning that, but as a guy, I do understand how sometimes it's very difficult to suppress those desires.
