2. Do not worship vanity or beauty or superficial ambition

3. Do not neglect to do what you say you will

4. Do not mock those who are worse off than you

5. Do not neglect those who serve you with their bodies

6. Do not injure another person who has not harmed you

7. Do not desire sex without a married relationship where children is allowed

8. Do not take what you are entitled to by inheritance or merit or relationship or work

9. Do not slander or malign or entertain evil thoughts about others

10. Do not desire things you have not earned or do not deserve or belongs to another

11. Do not bear a grudge against another person

12. Do not neglect those who are hungry

This isn’t about prosperity or laws of attraction. This is literally “don’t disrupt the status quo and you might get something from it!”

5. Bodies only? I guess the value of engineers and problem solvers is null and void under this mindset. Neglect them fully, as they didn't use their bodies the way laborers did, so they don't matter. I'm very cynical of number 5.

6 is starkly opposite of what Christian biblical principles state. Love those who hate you, if someone tries to steal your tunic, give them your shirt, despite them harming you. This is reiterated in the epistles. I don't know why you would imply to harm someone who has injured you, as you have claimed to be christian. Vengeance is the lord's.

8 is baffling. Don't take by inheritance, merit, relationship, or work. OK, so that is any physical item, so a logical conclusion would be a naked homeless person on the street, having given up everything, dying of starvation and dehydration due to the merits of being a human that needs water. I'm skeptical of this opinion.

10 is contradictory to 8. So people should not have goals, ever, as that is a desire for something unearned. Coveting aside, this is directly against 8 in that a person, once having earned (merit or work) what they desire, are not to take it. That would make for an impossible life, literally just toiling away for nothing.

I love them all but the last one. In a first world nation there shouldn't be too much hunger. There are some that are lazy. I mean if it's a child or a friend then I got them. But there are those who would just take instead of doing for themselves. And I think such behavior hurts the whole. If hunger is meant metaphorically here then I guess it depends on what the hunger is for
