This is the right answer. God judges all sin perfectly, as it is His place and His place alone to.
Wrong! Chapters 18 and 20 of Leviticus form part of the Holiness code and list prohibited forms of intercourse, including the following verses:"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination." Chapter 18 verse 22"If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them." Chapter 20 verse 13[2
You don't get to make up your own rules about God.
@Mijopapiii yeah by works of the law no flesh will be justified. That's not how we are saved. Yes gay marriage is sin but we aren't kept saved by abstaining.
Christians need to understand you do not need to hate anybody for being different but you don't tolerate this kind of behavior either.
Lies! Homosexuality is an abomination to God. Leviticus 18:22 (KJV) Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.1 Corinthians 6:9-10 “Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or anyone practicing homosexuality, no thieves, greedy people, drunkards, verbally abusive people, or swindlers will inherit God’s kingdom.” being gay or straight matters, in the beginning God created a male and a female Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve, common sense will tell you it takes a male and female to reproduce. That was God's purpose for sex so that male and female could be fruitful. You can be gay and trust in Christ but that doesn't mean you'll go to heaven. Matthew 7:21 (KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. God will take you just the way you are and change you.
@needy1234_ - John 6:40 “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” The one who does the Will of the father is one who believes on the Son. The ones in Matthew 7 depended on their works and didn't trust in Christ. Trusting in your works to save you is a different Gospel read the book of Galatians. Stop being brash and reactionary. Ephesians 1:13-14 "In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory." - If you receive the Holy Spirit when you believe and the Holy Spirit is a guarantee of your salvation then obviously that means you don't earn anything your salvation has nothing to do with your works.
@Ericalovescats Now you are just deflecting.
@Mijopapiii No I'm not. I agree the Homosexuality is a sin but again not doing it isn't going to get you saved or not. This isn't hard to understand.
If you are blasphemous and go against the word of God why would you be saved? There are rules for a reason.
This is not even up for debate I cannot believe these fake Christians.
@Mijopapiii 1 John 5: 16-18 "If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he should ask God, who will give life to those who commit this kind of sin. There is a sin that leads to death; I am not saying he should ask regarding that sin. 17All unrighteousness is sin, yet there is sin that does not lead to death." - There are sins that lead to death and there are those that don't. Sorry bro but not all sin is created equally. There are sins that God will punish for you temporarily and there is another one (Not accepting Jesus) that he will punish for eternally. Once again stop having a short fuse and stop being brash. If you get saved by stopping your sin and the other person doesn't, guess what? That's works salvation which the Bible clearly teaches against read through Romans 3, 4 and 5.
@Mijopapiii And just so there is no confusion I'm not saying that it's right to go against the word of God but nobody will be perfect in this lifetime but keeping commandments isn't what saves us. It's by grace that we're saved.
That is just like anything else no different than a criminal people do wrong and think they don't deserve the punishment. God made rules if you break them you pay just like Sodom and Gomorrah.
God loves criminals.
@Ericalovescats SMH 🤦🏾♀️ you just chose to ignore the Bible scriptures about homosexuality and pick what you want.
@Mijopapiii Lol fine I just gave you scripture references and all you do is try to use reasoning again. Yeah the point of the cross was to take the punishment that we deserved. If we don't trust in Jesus we will pay for it.
It's by grace we're saved yes, but that doesn't mean God will condone sin. If that was the case then he wouldn't have destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah and send the flood.
@needy1234_ Exactly God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because sick men tried to have sex with angels of the lord.
@needy1234_ Um no, you just can't read. I've said before that homosexuality is a sin, I dealt with your verses saying that yes they are sins but that Jesus died for sins. You didn't address my scriptures about how "The will of the Father" was not performing works but that we believe on Jesus. That's called projection hun
@needy1234_ He didn't condone it when we get to Heaven we will be perfect. Regardless of how bad we were before we got there. The thief on the Cross was as rotten as could be and yet was assured of paradise solely because he believed on Jesus.
@needy1234_ None of those people trusted in Jesus your point is irrelevent. Now God will still discipline his children but there are ways to discipline them without sending them to Hell. God may in fact cause their life to become ruined but they won't go to Hell.
Jesus died for our sins to save us from spiritual death, He wasn't beaten, mocked and put on on the cross just for us to think we're free to sin and just by *trusting in him * we'll go to heaven.
@needy1234_ Yes and he will be successful at that. You see God may kill someone prematurely (Since Homosexuals often die young if the practice). Then when they get to Heaven they will be perfectly righteous and servants of the Lord for Eternity. They will be least in the Kingdom of Heaven if they weren't faithful in this life but they will not be cast into Hell.God isn't going to die on the cross for all the sins, pay for all of them. Then abandon someone simply because they didn't live right. If he did then his death for that person was in vain. No he will continue with that person even if it means they might be the least in the Kingdom.
Nobody said God will abandon them, but you can't only trust in Christ and think you'll be saved. Yes you can be gay, but God will take you as you are and change you, he can't allow you to enter the kingdom as an abomination.
And if they didn't live right, they can only blame themselves. God gave us free will to choose who we want to follow, God or the devil, that's why what we do on this earth matters, then when we die we go to hell or heaven depending on how we lived our lifes.
@needy1234_ Ugh I already answered that objection there, all the rest is just assertion by you. 1 John 5:16-18, all sin is wrong but not all sin leads to death (For the one who already believes). The conversation is going nowhere.
And she already showed you valid bible verses that actually relate to what we are talking about LGBT can't go to Heaven.
She's not worth it 🤦🏾♀️ @mijopapiii
@EricalovescatsDo not be deceived... practicing homosexuals will not enter the kingdom according to...1 Corinthians 6:9-10 “Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or anyone practicing homosexuality, no thieves, greedy people, drunkards, verbally abusive people, or swindlers will inherit God’s kingdom.”
