How are you a slave to your supposed sin?
Because your desire will control your flesh. Whether it be a love of money, sex, alcohol, gossip, lying, adultery, drug taking, vanity.. whatever it might be. When your journey in life is steered by these things we become slaves to them.. try to stop chasing men/women, money, going clubbing etc or whatever your vice is and see how hard it is. You never realise how much you sin until you try to stop.. this wordly things do not represent freedom. They r distractions from your divine purpose... lucifer was the brightest angel and is depicted as beautiful. What he has to offer will appear beautiful but it only leads to death... carnal desires are fun but not worth risking an eternity for
Where did you hear Satan telling individuals to drink alcohol, gossip, lie etc? That’s human nature and is up to the individual whether they harm themselves or each other.
I prefer to keep an open mind to everything, but I agree nothing should interfere with our individual selves, lest it be destroyed.
But wasn’t he the one to gift Adam and even the ability to know evil and good while God actively sought to keep them innocent and dumb?
The story of the garden of Eden is the story of the origin of sin. You don’t actually believe Adam and Eve existed do you?
I like to keep an open mind to everything. I think the Bible was heavily edited and lots of books were left out or lost, so we’ll never truly know the whole story, but you’ll hear every other denomination saying their interpretation is absolute.
I also like to keep an open mind. In my opinion there was no Adam nor eve
What made you have that opinion?
Research, feedback, logic, discussion. It’s logical that a story passed down by mouth from person to person could have those details. Like much of the Old Testament there were ancient stories which were key to that society. Thankfully by the time of Jesus no longer did society have to rely on word of mouth so history could be written down.
It’s not logical to assume that it was passed down completely perfect word for word. Ever heard of the game telephone?
Did I say perfect? That’s my entire point. Much of the old testament Is like a game of telephone. I called them stories for a reason, they were interpreted as they were passed down. Many cultures have a story about a flood for instance but the details change between the stories.
That’s why I try to keep an open mind to it all because we’re constantly uncovering new information from the ancient past.
Me too. We will learn our entire lives. No one knows everything. It’s exciting to hear you keep an open mind because as someone who has faith in God it means you can love Him and worship Him, praise God!
The Christian God? No thanks, I’m not the obedient type.
Yes, the only God. But remember you are open minded so maybe one day you will hear His call and take that leap of faith. I hope you do.Ty for the discussion. Peace
Wait... how can you believe in god if you don’t know whether or not the information is accurate since it’s been handed down soooooo many times.
As I already said, by faith. I choose to take a leap of faith and now I believe. Until you have faith, you cannot believe
Faith in an I known god?
Faith in God
But an unknown god, who abandoned his supposed creation.
Nope, God the creator
But how do you know who he/she is?
Because I have faith. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. As I already said, until you take the leap of faith God will not make logical sense
How do you even have an idea of Jesus Christ if the information on him was passed by word of mouth from thousands of people? It doesn’t make logical sense to have faith in a god you have no idea of.
Because at the time jesus lived history’s was being written down. 4 separate authors in different books matched details with his life.Correct. I feel like you didn’t read what I wrote. There is no logic in having faith in God. That’s what I said.See ya
How do you know the information handed down from the 4 authors wasn’t edited? Or they even made mistakes? But alright bye. Lol
He didn’t rape women. He bred with them supposedly but you can’t believe everything you read. And whoaaaa there why the insult? You’re hurting my feelings over here.
Book of Jasher, Chapter 4 And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their wives by force from their husbands according to their choice
They took them from their husbands by force but it doesn’t say anything about forcing their cocks inside of them.
This woman is going straight to hell she is a blasphemer and does not know the word of GOD
Genesis 6:4There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the angels came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them
I don't believe in it but if you subscribe to heaven and hell aren't people supposedly tortured in Hell? The lake of fire isn't described as an enjoyable place, more of a place of extreme torment.
Well, I mean the Bible has been heavily edited by the Vatican and supposedly they left books out of the Bible, so no I don’t believe in hell and anybody who trusts the Bible as a legitimate historical source is a fool.
The modern depiction of him maybe. 😂👹
