I have a Biblical answer to this, but would like to see your answers. It isn't a trick question, but a means to clearing a misconception.
Biblically we know not everyone who claims to be a Christian is. That was mentioned throughout the New Testament. The True path to salvation is repentance and accepting of Christ Sacrifice on the Cross as atonement. These are two things someone else can't do for you, no matter who they are. Once you have repented and accepted Christ, you enter a personal relationship, another thing that can't be done fore you. So your parents can't make you a Christian, No one can make you a Christian.
Your parents can however, offer Christianity as it is freely given, but it is taken in an act of Free Will.
