If Christianity is true, does that mean we will all be wages of sin when we die in the afterlife?

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death.

According to this verse, we will all become wages of sin. It plainly equates death to wages of sin. Since we will have death, we will be wages of sin if the Bible is true.

If Christianity is true, that's where I'm going. What does wages of sin is death mean if death is something else?
Yes---- if the Bible is true, we must all be wages of sin when we die or the Bible is a lie
