My existence ending is quite a scary thought because I want to do so much more. I feel as if anyone who says otherwise is lying or hasn’t experienced a life or death situation. I’m at peace with the fact that I will die, and do not live in paranoia, but yes when I start reaching that older age- I’m sure I’ll be scared. I’ve lost my best friend in combat. Lost a friend to suicide. Lost another friend to gang violence. Lost my uncle a couple years ago. My cousin a couple months ago. Having worked as a reserve sheriffs deputy, I’ve seen someone take their last breath. It’s absolutely terrifying and some of those memories still haunt me. I’d think that someone would have to be quite sociopathic to not be impacting by seeing death. So yeah, death is pretty fucking scary to me lol
Just try not to expedite it and nobody will complain about your view.

I don't dwell on the inevitable. It's pointless worrying or fearing something you can't prevent. So I don't fear dying.
However, that's easy to say when you're young and healthy. If was diagnosed with a terminal illness, and told I only had a few days left to live, I really don't know if I'd fear death or not. You can't know for sure until you're faced with death

I'm scared of the pain which leads to death. A painless death would be ideal but it's still bad because you lose your experience of life.
