Do you believe there's actually a "god" or do you think we were created by another supernatural being like aliens and such?

- I think there "is" God, not that God is an "IS". Bible calls it "I am that I am". To me that is foundational energy which flows through all. Science/Quantum physics is showing how everything is intertwined and connected, and yet barely understands anything.
It's a leap of thinking to believe, but it feels good once you do. Is it false and imaginary, I don't know. That's a choice. Our powerful brains like to live within the box we made for ourselves. But we don't understand that much. We don't even understand time.
Humans had to deal with all these same questions when we lacked technology. We could build pyramids and calculate all kinds of stuff back 1000's years ago, but they had to confront the same questions. Who are we? How did we get here? Where are we going? Al this in the face of suffering and knowing we are goign to go back to the dust we were made from. It's a humbling set of questions.
It gets to what is the "real" God then, if there is one? To me, Jesus answered that the best and clearest and demonstrated it If it's a lie, it is the best lie ever told because it perfectly feeds the human heart and soul... the only thing that matters. It discards the body, which we know will decay, and saves the essence "soul"... is that light? Are we just a tiny spec of light, occupying a physical electrochemical human form which burns out within 100 years? But where does the essence/light go after that. Some science indicates there is a spirit as when someone dies, there is a slight weight change. Not sure I buy that, but it's some evidence.
Aliens. Never met one. If you can believe in aliens, then you can believ ein anything. Why not believe in a God that loves you and just wants a deep relationship with you for eternity? Because it stretches your mind and soul to do so and feels like a lie. Lies are covered in the Bible for we were separated from God... by a lie.0|10|0Is this still revelant?

- I don't believe there is a "god". Not in the popular sense anyway. I believe that if there is a god, he/she/it has proven to have as much interest in us as you or I might have for a grain of sand in the desert. Thus such an entity is unworthy of reverence.
As for humans; I believe we are the product of millennia of evolution, just like other animals on this planet, and others that can sustain life. If we were in fact created by aliens, the questions to dwell on are: who created the aliens then? Other aliens? Who created the first aliens that started the cycle of creating aliens? What kind of aliens will we one day create? (yes, I'm having fun).
I have observed that mankind has a (narcissistic?) obsession with being "special" in relation to everything else. Religion seems to have perpetuated and reinforced this idea with it's higher powers that created a "chosen people". In a way, the idea that we were created by aliens can then be slotted into the large list of religions we already have (since they are in this case, the "higher power").
I prefer to believe in both our current insignificance, and also in our near limitless potential to destroy this insignificance. We are special by what we achieve, not by receiving the title from equally insignificant outsiders.0|10|1Is this still revelant?

- No god. No aliens. Science can explain things for you, even if it's not as romantic as the things you read in the bible. Instead it's raw, gritty, devastating, and beautiful - all at different times, and yet all at the same time.
With that said, you might enjoy this. It's a documentary on how the earth was created. Basically our first living ancestors were single-celled organisms formed in the water (as the land itself was incapable of supporting life). From there they became either plants or sea life. Naturally we evolved from the sea life.https://www.youtube.com/embed/gTsJubN68WEIt's an hour and a half, but it's worth watching.1|10|1Is this still revelant? That's an hour and a half of "religion" that I choose not to waste my time on. Especially when those that believe in the "theory (thought) of evolution". Multiplication can dispute this theory extremely quickly. 1,000,000,000,000,000 x 0 IS STILL 0! - We were not "created" out of nowhere. We evolved to become the humans we are today.
Nobody knows the true origin of the Universe, besides that. But I'm very sure that we're very lucky to be here, as the chances of living alone as a human race is approximately 1 in 10^2,685,000.
I'm glad to be alive0|20|1Is this still revelant?"God" is usually used as a way to fill the gap of ignorance and lack of knowledge, naturally we humans gravitate to this conclusion if there's no other way to explain it as far as we're concerned. But we've already proved to ourselves that there's always a scientific explanation to everything, and "God" isn't the answer unfortunately.
Funny that you say that because they say evolution answers all of life's mysteries. Like they see stars die (novas and supernovas) but yet NO ONE has EVER seen a star form. Why is that? And they say that hydrogen was the original element. So how did all the other elements come into being if hydrogen at one time was THE ONLY ELEMENT? Lastly, if I see a TV, watch, car, anything of material value, I'm gonna immediately assume that it just came to be without ANY assistance from ANYONE? SERIOUSLY? But yet they refuse to acknowledge that the earth was created by God. And that's because one day God WILL judge EVERY single person (man, woman and child). They just don't want to be held accountable, so if they believe that there's no god, then accountability would never happen but Psalm 14:1 says "The fool says in his heart there is no God'"! Prepare for Judgement because IT IS COMING! wether you want to believe it or not!

@navyrobin actually the Bible is VERY CLEAR on where we came from! Now mind you, you don't have to accept God, that IS your personal choice. But Just as everyone is born, we all must die! I'd rather live my life proclaiming God's love and mercy through Jesus Christ and spend the rest of eternity with Him than to not accept God's forgiveness. And God will NEVER force you into heaven against your will! But just as He casts sin as far as the east is from the west, He will cast the non believers in the same way! NOT because He chose to, but because the non believers chose it! And God, love, peace, mercy, will NOT be for the non believers! So for the non believers, it will be eternal torment! Again, not of God's chosing, but of the non believers chosing!
LOL, that's why you're hiding huh? Pretty big of you when you're in disguise! LMAO
@TheDominantOne Scientists aren’t perfect, so I’m not gonna pretend that they know everything and their knowledge is flawless. But what you have to remember is that every single time we can’t explain something, decades or centuries later we always find a scientific explanation to it. Not everything can be explained yet but that doesn’t mean “God” did it. One day we’ll know the answer to the biggest questions about existence. And we’ll be able to explain it scientifically.
LOL! Psalm 14:1 The fool says in his heart "There is no God'" and ANYTHING that was EVER created HAD a creator! The world is no different! I would rather stand with God and be judged by the world than to stand with the world and be judged by God!
@TheDomimantOne Fred Hoyle addressed, and successfully answered, where all the elements other than H came from (i. e. nucleosynthesis in stars, supernovae). Helium is being formed right this minute in our very own sun. Stars have been observed forming, so that claim of yours is wrong as well. They "die" when they go nova.

@TheDomimantOne I am still trying to figure out why your dumbass believes there's s god? Because you read it in the bible? Who created the bible? Oh, wait this so-called "god" wrote it. If "God" is real, why is he/she/it so afraid to show itself? Why is "god' never there in times of need? The bible, Quran, or whatever tf is out there could've been written by a random ass person.

1642- I believe there is a God, and I've had precognitive Dreams come to pass before, so I'm pretty sure that proves there is a God. Through Prayer and other means, I believe God has told me advanced Aliens have visited the Earth on at least 3 separate times. Once about a thousand years ago, once a few decades ago, and once several million years ago.
No, Aliens did not create humans. The method of creating or evolving a lifeform more complex than the simplest virus is beyond mortal comprehension.
Also "Fallen Angels" did not and cannot breed with humans, just for the record, and "Aliens" are not supernatural, they are biological and most are Carbon-based, but not all life is carbon based.0|00|0 - The way you created the poll, it is unclear what a person is voting for if they vote either way. Are you saying "Yes there is a god" or are you saying "Yes we were created by aliens" or are we saying "No, we were created by aliens, or "No, there is a god" or "No, we were not created"...
It's too vague. So, no point in voting and the results are going to be skewed by whatever a person was thinking when they answered even though they could answer the same as someone else but think the opposite thing was true.0|00|0 - I think an alien race genetically modified some of the simians they found on this planet to do their dirty work of mining and maybe cleaning the spaceship and doing the dishes. They created a slave/working/serving class, and as such those creatures were made to worship and adore the aliens they served. That kept mutinies and other clashes down, and productivity up. When our creator aliens left, they just turned humans out in the field to fend for themselves. That's the loss of the Garden of Eden. We still worship and adore the Chief of the Creator Aliens, because we are wired to do so.
Now the question is, who created the Aliens that created us? Inquiring minds want to know!!0|00|0 - Well, going on what has been discovered, it would appear we weren't created by a sentient being of any kind. We evolved into what we are through the broad process of natural selection.
There isn't a reason to believe there is or was a god which the universe was created by. Suggesting that there might be a god is fine but as soon as you claim there definitely is god, you leave the adults and go to sit down at the children's table. Every aspect of reality which one might suggest is attributed to the creation of god, is a gap in scientific knowledge. The truth of these matters is that nobody knows why they are that way/how they came to be so. To claim "god did it" is an empty fantasy.0|20|0Why the Fuck, okay hear me, fucking listen. Why Would G. Yes, belief in God is a statement of faith. Faith is likely the only way to leap out of the trap of our minds to what is beyond us. It can seem crazy, but when done right, it produces a better human on the inside... one that doesn't march to the damage of the human emotional heart but to the emotion which was desired, which is love. When that energy, love is what drives the human, it prudces good "fruits" in this life, which remains finite. Obviously any human being can fail, no matter what religion. But the faith/hope/love gives a better driving purpose in what is often, a terribly polluted environment of hopeless humans.
Maybe that's a way of saying there is value in belief in God. I can't prove God, it's what you said... it's faith. All faith would be a leap over things not known. If it could be all known, I doubt people would value it... for man would put this "god" or energy under their thumb and try to control it. That would be bad. The created out of the energy controlling the energy. We know that is wrogn relationship. We humans aren't that powerful.@lightbulb27 Imagining and testing new ideas and learning from the results and using that knowledge to come up with more new ideas is how to discover the truth and uncover the unknown. Not faith. What you're describing by "faith" is more a type of comfortable ignorance. You don't need to have faith in the supernatural in order to be a good person. If you can already imagine what a supernatural being thinks is ethical, you can follow your own imagination anyway. Fovusing too much on the bad aspects of abusing power rather than the potential it has for good if all was discovered is counterproductive to human progression.
- In fact, God is a being.
To believe he exists requires you to believe spirits exist.
Spirits = gods.
The Holy Spirit = God.
gods were widely believed to have their physical presence as idols, or inside of a building.
This is because religion needed gods, and adherents. The adherents were often too stupid to conceptualize god as a metaphysical being. So idols became the gods themselves.
I adamantly believe that spirits exist. So denying, their existence, makes you, spiritually dead.
Denying the Holy God opens you up to false gods.
I will always believe this.0|00|0 - Technically, aliens would not be supernatural beings, just more advanced. I personally believe that God created the universe. I don't believe that any human religion represents God accurately or that any human religion could. The simplifications required to be comprehensible to humans distort the truth too much to be really true.0|00|0
- First of all, sorry Science but it's totally ridiculous that life could be created by something called a, "Big Bang," I mean, whoever came up with that needs to get a big bang in the HEAD so that they can finally start thinking straight.
The only way to find out for yourself who the one god is is to study the different religions and put a lot of time into it. I think it's something that everyone should do so that they can understand where they really came from and where they're going, it brings so much peace to finally know.0|01|2Thing is buddy, you have it wrong. Big bang didn't create life. Life was just a coincidence. Given enough material and right conditions, said life is replicable easily. (also time, lots of time). Life and organism are not complex, they became complex over the years of evolution and adjusting to the changing climate, its cold and hot and varies so much that organisms soon needed to be complex enough to adapt fast enough to survive. Thats why complex life exists. Life at its beginning was never complex. Its as simple as organic chemistry, literally a book you can study up on. I suggest you read up amd study chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, astronomical physics and the nuclear physics along with biology and and a slight bit of archeology rather than religion. All religions have it wrong. They are all wrong. Nothing in this universe was "created" most things came to be by coincidence and whatever survived became complex. Thats all. by the way its even more silly to think that someone made such precise laws for physics and chemistry but screwed up biology and design so hard. Its like, if there was a creator, that thing definitely needs to retake a design class, or at least take a course on it. Lol. The intelligence is dwindling small in designs when actually studying animals and humans mainly.
@Harris_sresht
Well, if you think you know everything on this subject then why are you asking other people to share their opinions? That's exactly what I did and I'm sorry if mine didn't line up exactly with what you think, but that's what this site is for.I didn't ask for opinions i just gave mine. I know yours don't align with mine. Its quite obvious. The point is science isn't wrong. I saw your "sorry science" line and thought thats wasn't right. So i gave my opinion on that.

You may think whatever suits you. FYI, im an engineer in biotechnology. Give me enough equipment and i can prove anyone wrong any day. Also i do have a home. Im also planning my masters abroad (since i do qualify), so yeah. I do some stuff and what i know kinda negates every religion in known existence. Sorry not sorry.I wasn't meaning to be rude at all and I totally believe in Science, but I still have my own beliefs too and I'm not going to give them up just because they don't align with yours. I wasn't trying to offend you at all and I hope you understand that. It's a really good question and I admire your boldness to ask and answer things like this.
Thank you for the compliment. Let Bygones be bygones. Though, good reply i respect that.
- I think god is the creator of all things in the universe and god created aliens and other universes. I read a sci-fi book where they came in contact with other life forms and in the book the called god the MAKER because they realized after coming in contact with other beings we are all created0|00|0
- Your question is actually two in one. To which do I answer 'Yes'? - "Do you believe there is a God?", or "Do you think we were created by aliens?"
In response to the first I have to say YES. The latter no, because aliens clearly do not exist, and they wouldn't be supernatural if they did.0|00|0 - We've all experienced lies and misunderstandings, told lies ourselves, seen them in others, scientists have even noticed lies in animals. Nobody's got any evidence of a God. So, there's an infinitely higher chance that Gods are a human invention than a real thing.0|00|0
- The problem with the god theory is nature is full of monumental fuckups. Things that no intelligent designer would do. This is often used as a strong argument against a so called infallible god.
But what if there wasn't one god but a factory of aliens producing stuff on an industrial scale and some of them were pretty shit at their job?0|10|2The reason why there inconsistencies is because at one time this world WAS meant for believers. But since the fall of man, the inconsistencies increased, simply because this world is NOT for God, but for Satan! And since Satan is the father of all lies, everything in this world is decaying as a result of the fall! People believed in the religion of "no god" back before Jesus' day. And it's even more prevalent now! Psalm 14:1 "The fool says in his heart there is no God"
"... the god theory of nature..." - That's your first error, right there. God, if one is to believe in such, wouldn't somehow exist within nature, but would be the ultimate reason for why nature exists at all in the first place.
@TheDomimantOne Yes, and who or what created Satan? How could one possibly argue for the existence of a God that is simultaneously omnipotent and omnibenevolent, given what we observe around us? A perfect, flawless God would have been able to prevent the development of the Satanic rebellion that Christians so ardently believe in, but strangely enough it's a topic they just love to avoid whenever this pertinent fact is pointed out to them.

Actually God did create the angel who later became known as Satan, however God did give us all free will. If God had intervened, there would be none of the problems that we face now (COVID anyone?)! But because He is an awesome and merciful God, He allows us free will! So we can decide wether we want to be His followers or not! But rest assured that ALL WILL kneel at the throne of God and confess that Jesus Christ IS LORD!
@TheDomimantOne The 'free will argument', made popular by Alvin Plantinga, just doesn't work, if only because it cannot account for natural disasters. Besides, if as you believe "we will all kneel before God", then it stands to reason we do not have free will anyway, because it's under duress (i. e. for making the "wrong" choice we are threatened with eternal damnation). Your theology just doesn't add up, it's nonsensical.
@Yaaten
"Chaos" is before God, not Randomness and not Nothingness. Chaos is self-motivated, and potentiall eternal, therefore fulfills the requirement of a First Cause without the need for a Mind.
God is of Order and is Created by Chaos, because the Universe was created by Order, as nothing inside the Universe ever violates it's own laws, the Universe did not appear due to Chaos or Randomness, because the attributes of the Universe are in fact MAXIMIZED for a space-time continuum having these same laws and constants and number of dimensions. That is the laws and constants never change.
Therefore an actual God of Order does exist, and the question "where did God (or his Mind) come from?" is then asnwered by saying "chaos can be self-eternal and self motivated and Chaos is not a mind." Nevertheless, Chaos CAN solve any problem instantaneously.
So the God who actually exists is greater than the greatest imaginary God, but the God who actually exists is not all-knowing and is not "Almighty", only Chaos is Almighty, and Chaos does not "know" anything, because it doesn't have a mind.
Moreover, Chaos could create more than one Being worthy of being called "God" so the First Commandment fails, if Chaos is indeed the True Creator, the First Cause.
So while an "Eternally Righteous God" should not have created Satan, it's possible that Satan is "an Evil God" created by Chaos, and the "Good God of Order" who Created the Universe is not able to permanently defeat Satan, because He is neither All-knowing nor Almighty."
And Chaos, who is the True Creator, does not know and does not care either way, because Chaos does not have a Mind.
1) Chaos means anythign is possible.
2) If anything is possible, then one or more beings worthy of being called "God (s)" is possible.
3) Therefore God of Order exists, and "Evil Gods" such as Satan or "Fallen Angels" may exist too.Name a "Monumental Fuckup" in nature which you are hereby blaming on Yahweh, or else whatever your warped notion of the Creator would be. Nobody has a perfect notion of said Creator, because he is infinite and cannot be fully comprehended by mortals..
Maybe Yahweh loves "Ugly Ducklings", such as Hammer Head Sharks or Autistic Children. The human female pelvic is a well documented example. feel free to Google it. It's the worse possible design for childbirth
@Wade8888 What you've written is gibberish. Sorry, but it just makes no sense at all. Besides, I'm waiting for 'TheDominantOne' to return to address the issues I raised in my comment just above yours. It's funny how committed Christian theists tend to just disappear when they're confronted by questions they simply cannot answer.
What if God INTENTIONALLY made some of his Creations Flawed? Then God would still be perfect, but his Creation is intentionally flawed to humble said creation.
Nobody has perfect genetics, and everyone is a sinner, but God loves everyone anyway.
Hahaha. I win. hehehehehe. It's been working for millions of years, with literally billions upon billions of models.
Take gastroschisis for an example, a condition where a baby is born inside out. Imagine for a moment having your organs and gut on the out side. The excruciating pain and suffering of an innocent baby and the anguish of a helpless mother. Then ask how you can praise a god that does such atrocities.
- Call it what you will, but I don't believe there's "nothing" else going on and that we all evolved from slime for over billions of years. There's a great power that we can not explain, but I'm not going to get bogged down in a discussion about it, or what we call it. As to "extra-terrestrials", any intelligent beings wouldn't purposely interact with us stupid humans yet, in my opinion! However, they could be dumb too. After all, humans can make it to other planets or moons right now, and we're STILL all fucked up. Maybe they were too if they actually were here!0|00|1
- Anonymous2 moYes I believe there is a God. Aliens are demons in disguises. How was the world going to tell people where all the Christians go when they get ruptured they’re gonna say that aliens abducted us. They are going to start saying that aliens are real aliens on the service they have already started this.0|00|0
We who are believers in Christ are not of this world. Therefore we are aliens living in a world that was once ours. But because of Christ, we are no longer of this world!
- Anonymous2 moA few scientists who were avid atheist's have started changing there mind saying the chances of some perfection are almost impossible. Now I am not saying 'God' is loving and caring, I personally think he/she/they are quite cruel. But I think there is something there that science doesn't currently understand
I think aliens are extremely likely. It's just based on chance and stats. The vast number of planets out there just makes sense that they are there. If one looks at historical artifacts and records some drawings and sculptures of aliens are difficult to dispute. Also if one looks at the bible, a lot can be pointed to alien's.0|00|1 - Scripture is very clear, there will be no excuse for anyone to say that "God doesn't exist!" Because everything on earth screams His glory!
"For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him."Everything we can see and cannot see is for His glory. Even the demons bring Him glory, knowing that He alone is God. James 2:190|01|1 - I don't believe we were created by anything. I think meteors hit the earth, then a chemical reaction happened at the bottom of the ocean near geothermal vents and life came into being. Then it evolved into us and every other living thing on the planet over the course of billions of years. I don't think any intelligent being had anything to do with it whatsoever.1|00|0
- Then who created aliens? I believe that there is a non physical entity that is bigger than everything in all the universe that is in charge, you can call it the divine, God, existence or whatever term you choose. By the way, one very credible psychic predicted by next year we will be getting visits from aliens who will offer assistance to humans because we are stupid.0|11|1
we could use the help. I just hope they don't turn us into soilant green snack bars.
@jack187625 Not really, some are fake chill out. He has a lot of testimonies and does his stuff live. You can just call in randomly unless you are uncomfortable with your business being out in the public. He has predicted death in a family and described the person. he warned the caller to tell the victim that they were to stop what they were doing or they will be killed. he kept on doing it and then he was shot and killed because he didn't listen.

@Newhead I am stupidly skeptical about that, psychics just tell you want you want to hear, either to impress you are make you feel good about yourself. There is no way to know the future. People that claim to, just want to take your money. They are scam artists.
@Newhead so the question I have for you is in 2022 if no aliens have arrived, as predicted by this psychic, will you continue to defend them as a legit psychic or will you take the logical route and admit he was wrong and is a fake?
The funny thing is these people can be consistently wrong but people just dismiss it and forget about it, and focus on the times they were right. Even a broken analog clock is right twice a day.@zeitgeist057 I know that astrology is a real thing, so that won't change my belief in the ideology. But I will say the psychic's predictions were not accurate.
Actually, we who are considered believers in Jesus Christ are not of this world. Therefore we are aliens living among you!
- All religions are just fairy tales of man who wanted answers but knew nothing of science so they came up with some ridiculous stories. Remember, they bible was written by a bunch of guys who didn't even know where the sun went at night, if you want answers this is not a good place to look for them.1|10|0
- Irrelevant. Unless we want to accept the absurdity of an infinite regression or the even more absurd idea of nothing becoming something, there is someone or something that has always had the essence of being. appealing to aliens simply moves it back a generation. Or two. Or 1,000,000. Doesn't matter. There is still some self-existent point of origin.0|10|0
- It's spelled "God" - you simpleton.
Also, if they are "aliens" then they cannot be "supernatural".
You need to pay more attention in school, kiddo.0|00|0 - "... the heavens declare the glory of God and the skies show His handiwork..."
You have a conscience. You already know the answer.
You don't have to act like you believe in Him. You ARE going to die one day. When you're standing before your Creator... that you denied and ignored... it will be too late.
Choose wisely...0|01|0 - Anonymous2 moThe human race (Adam) was formed outside of The Garden Of Eden, and placed inside The Garden by God, and then He formed Eve from Adam.
There is no other "life" in the Universe. Just us Earthlings.
God consists of:
God the Father... God the Son (Jesus)... God the Holy Spirit0|00|0 - There should be a third option: "I don't know"/I'm agnostic.
in my opinion, human reason is incapable of providing sufficient rational grounds to justify either the belief that God exists or the belief that God does not exist. Therefore, the existence of God, of the divine or the supernatural can not be known.1|10|0The reason why we can know that God exists because the earth screams His glory! Man/woman will stand before God and will be without excuse as to why they didn't believe in God! The scriptures are VERY CLEAR about that!
- something created every 1 and every thing and it was not a - human , animal , bird or insect - ! it was God ! thanks0|00|0
- Anonymous2 moThere's no "god". Is it possible aliens had a hand in human development? I guess. That wouldn't make them gods. But right now, there's no need of that particular hypothesis. The laws of nature do a perfectly fine job of getting us here as it stands.0|00|0
- I believe God is real and alive. What we know of as "aliens" are actually demons. Why would these extraterrestrial beings keep themselves such a secret? And why only appear at night?0|00|0

It gives us information that it could only come from God.
But if you don't accept there is a God , why does it matter to you.
