In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.
God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven.
So the evening and the morning were the second day. Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.
And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so.

The Bible was written by men, but God's Holy Spirit was directing them what to write. The Holy Bible is inspired through God's Holy Spirit and 100% accurate.

Analyze it mathematically, the process from the start of earth to Man is in this order:
Light... atmosphere... land/ sea separation... plant life... sea animal life... land animal life... mankind... (I think there are a few more, can't remember)
The probability of Moses list the series of events correctly with the "science" of his day is like near zero.
Hence mathematically, I think we can accept Genesis 1 and 2 as real.
(How Moses got that knowledge is another topic. Be it from God, be it from the demons, or be it from Aliens is another debate altogether.)
Moses only saw his back for no man can see God's face and live. (Somewhere written God covered Moses face as he walk past).
Respectfully Christians believe that. But some other religions believe those knowledge are from the demons, who used those knowledge to control mankind. I respect those teachings too.
And nice interpretation that God's Word was the one delivering the Law. A good analysis.

It is a summary of revelation as best the human writer could report it. It is not necessarily technically accurate but it is a reporting of history. It would be like me explaining string theory.
Its impossible to really know for sure how precisely God created the Earth. While I do believe he is the creator, how exactly it came about is still unknown. The bible wasn’t written by God after all
