The vast amount of harsh whipping, having to wear the cross and being nailed on the cross has led his body to simply give up due to the fact that he couldn't breath anymore. Now you might be saying: "There are reports that people survived for a few days on the cross. How come that he died only a few hours into it?" Simple: He was whipped in advance. He was also definitely dead because the Roman soldier that guarded him rammed his spear into his side to confirm. Both blood and water ran out. If only water would've run out, it would mean that Jesus survived, but he died indeed. At 3pm the world has received salvation because Jesus of Nazareth, the only begotten son of God, who has never sinned, has died for all sinners in the world.

Suddenly. Like everyone else. He was alive, alive, alive, then dead.
If you performed an autopsy, you'd probably find several competing sources for his demise. Blood loss, anoxia, overall physical trauma, and a quite savage looking spear wound in his side.
Fortunately for his followers, his twin (Thomas) was briefly able to take his place for a few weeks, put in the odd appearance which initially confused a few people, but really kick started the whole christianity thing.

I have no clue. I believe he was crucified or however it's spelled. The Israelis or Jews or whatever hung him on a cross and just left him. But I think he came back to life again. There's something about they go to the grave and he's gone. I think anyway... I'm sure a Christian will have a more elegant explanation...

Actually we don't really know the cause of death. We do know he was crucified but how that actually kills people is unclear. Some claim it restricts breathing, others suggest slow blood loss, dehydration, shock, exposure even attacks by wild animals have all been put forward as actual cause of death.

Well, I wasn't there, but the story is crucifixion. Mechanically, the way that kills you isn't exposure, usually, but asphyxiation: your arms are extended above your shoulders, so you have to pull yourself up to breathe deeply, but your feet are bound to the cross, so you can't. It's a nasty way to go, and both painful and slow in addition- when Jesus was reported dead after three hours, the response was "that was quick".
Jesus died on the cross at Calvary, and he died of a broken heart, because he took on the burden of sin for each of us, for the whole world, for all time. But the best news, is that he didn't stay dead, as he rose on the third day, and accepts anyone who seeks to follow Him, and who lays their sin at his feet. That makes the person a new creature, free, with new purpose in life, and with love for others.

He did before he was crucified. This is the version we know. He was not a son of God or God but he did was born out of miraculous birth.

He was crucified by the romans. Aren't you a little old to be so clueless? Or you've just never been exposed to the bible, or church?
