This is the result Google gives you because of the way their search algorithm works. The most searched for things usually top their list. Things like best selling books factor in to the algorithm and one of the most searched for books happens to be a best seller which comes under the subject of "greatest ever" people. This is Michael H. Hart's "Top 100: A ranking of the most influential persons in history". It is an opinion piece and an unpopular opinion piece at that. He also likely chose Muhammad as number 1 to capitalise on the free publicity the controversy would give him and that obviously worked. My views? The subject of Muhammad is ambiguous at best. There is very little, if any biographical information on him. Scholars like Liutsian I. Klimovich and Hans Jensen actually doubt he ever even existed. I'm undecided on that matter but leaning slightly towards Kilmonich and Jensen. For arguments sake, let's assume Muhammad actually did exist. Given the atrocities which have occurred as a result of his influence, I don't view him favorably at all. The preachings of his character in scripture, whether he really was a historical figure or not have caused horrendous pain, unjustifiable hardship and the premature extinguishing of innocent lives for centuries. It's hard to find anything positive which has happened because of Muhammad and when you do, it pales compared to the inordinate amount of negative consequence. When it really comes down to it, you have to ask what did he actually do? The answer is he allegedly started one of the most perniciously nocuous, ignoble, misogynistic, inhumane, ignorant, violent, fatuous and benighted superstitions the world has ever known. And he did it because he either suffered from schizophrenia or he was cunning enough to take advantage of the dissatisfaction with the idea of the holy Trinity. This is no better than either a cult leader the likes of the notorious Jim Jones or a man who, if alive today, would most likely either be drugged out of his mind on antipsychotic medication or involuntarily institutionalized. How does that compare to people who have actually contributed to genuine discovery which has helped humanity. People like Albert Einstein or Alexander Fleming? The answer is it doesn't and I call the intelligence of people who actually believe the pretenses of Islam and that Muhammad was inspired by genuine divinity into question.

According to the legendary historian Michael Hart. Muhammed (saw) was the greatest person to ever live.
Not only because he is the only man in history to never lose a battle, to unite his people, establish a secular state, rule of law, faith, and gain respect of friends and enemies home and abroad. All without ever telling a lie. But to achieve all that in 20 years.
No one has come close to the feat, not even Jesus was able to achieve half of that. Mainly as Paul, not Jesus, founded Christianity, authored most of the bible and setup the Church.
Come to think of it. Jesus did more for the Jews, than he did anyone else.

I am not an extremely religious muslim but the comments of the people below are very selfish. jesus is also the son of god. whereas god is one. Are we reacting to this?
The reason I say selfish; you call someone of another religion pedophilia, as if your religion is perfect. Nowadays even young girls love older men anyway. I mean, it is pointless to you say such a thing.
