Personally I miss the time when most people used computers with webcams as phones seem to be very limiting. Even though apps like Skype work on all platforms I find few people who like to use them

or because of my learning style that doesn't click with online classes or certain teaching style of professors?

I ask because some people make the assumptions that when you're struggling with a class, it automatically means you're not enjoying it. I'm currently taking CSC/EEE120 online this summer semester, which is a Digital Design Fundamentals course. This is barely my 2nd week into the class and I find the class interesting because I get to actually test hardware and stuffs using many hardware tools and so far, I did good on my first quiz (which luckily was an open-note quiz) for the class but I'm currently struggling really bad on how to actually do my hardware lab because the instructions on how to actually know how to use analog discovery, breadboards, and building circuits on a breadboard are very vague and confusing for me to the point where my mind won't stop running in circles and my hardware lab assignment becomes too late for me to submit online and gets marked missing. On top of that, I have to spend extra money to get myself a webcam and microphone for my personal computer so my professor can observe me taking the quizzes/tests at my own house, which feels awkward for me and I prefer to just take tests/quizzes in a classroom if students in the online class are required supervision.
