Hi, sorry to bother you all, but I'm thinking about texting ma crush. So I was thinking about texting something along limes of this: "hi, i didn't get to say this yesterday, but that coat looks good on you". I kinda know this guy and I saw him yesterday when I was out with friends and we talked a little. So what do you think? Is it to cliche or creepy or is it good conversation starter?

Hi, I'm really shy but I would really like to start talking to this guy via text (Instagram), I really like him. We know each other in person, but not very well (we talked a few times but never alone, only in a group of friends and never too much). He is older than me and I don't want to embarrass myself and come off creepy. I only have one idea but I don't think it's very good (I'm just so awkward). What do you think? Thanks in advance.

I like this guy.. wow typical sentence starter. Anyway, he's a year older in age, but 2 in grades, so he's helping out at a church retreat that I'm attending. That'll be torture... 😂 I've liked this guy for like 5 years no joke, and every year I seem to like him more oops. His older sister and his brother's wife are my group leaders for the camp, and I feel like they'll figure out I'm into him. I don't think I should make it obvious or not... I mean... I'm "really Christian" as some people like to say, and not looking to date until I'm at an age that I'd be ready to look for a potential spouse. That doesn't mean I don't still have all the feelings that come with liking someone or thinking someone is attractive or has a good personality. Each year we have a one-on-one conversation with one of our group leaders and we talk about struggles in our life specifically. Rn my biggest struggles are stress and being overworked, and having feelings for this guy that I can't do anything about. Would it be good for them to know because it might help or do you think I should just try and keep it hidden as long as possible to not risk them telling him or letting it slide? Please explain too! :)
