So, decided I should do a girl version of my other myTake: The Types of Guys on GirlsAskGuys, because it seemed like a good creative challenge. What would be different about this list compared to one about the guys? For one, I think there's more interaction among girls as a unit and from this idea I found this actually more exciting than the guy one which was straight comedy as this one has a bit of mystery, intrigue, and betrayal thrown into the mix. Anyway...
This girl has achieved the many qualifications of the title. She's popular, she's attractive and/or she takes pictures at an angle that make her look at least moderatly attractive, she pretends not to notice her popularity, she anwers a TON of questions and at least a few my takes. She's on a short list of names people remember who frequent the site. With all the colorful badges she sticks out wherever she goes and she might as well have her name in a different color than pink. Maybe Purple...
The Damsel
The Damsel knows the importance of pretty but very innocent looking pictures as well as the importance of doing a poor job holding her own in an argument with a big bad wolf male who challenges her opinions. As such she builds a loyal legion of guards and soldiers to protect her ivory tower. If she has a lot of brains...she never lets this fact on.
On a Mission Girl
This girl can be on a mission for a number of things but usually it's to destroy one particular male or female. She will stop at nothing to achieve her aims and realizes that widespread fury across all of said person's activitiy on the site can be highly frustrating to them. Because she's so prone towards anger, you can usually count on her losing interest and dropping from stalking you so that she can chase another who's opinions she feels it's her role to crush. I've learned to make peace with it.
The Female Apologist
This girl feels a strong affinity for the Male Rights Guys who's rhetoric they've copy and pasted from returnofkings.com. It is often unclear whether these are real women as they are so perfectly instrumental towards attacking women's rights and female equality with such bold statements as "I have enough rights, thanks" to "if I worke a skirt that short to a frat party and got raped I'd only blame myself" to "I don't think i'd ever want a woman to be president." Hey, I'm fine with any woman's choice even if it's to build her entire life around her husband, but women who apologize to men because other women would like more choices and oppurtunities and less acceptance towards sexism have me very much lost.
Horny Grandma
Taking things to a lighter place, the horny grandma isn't really a grandma so much as she's a 35+ woman who asks and answers a number of sexually charged questions revealing a desire to get her some. She's not neccessarily a cougar, but if a younger guy is near her, confident, and well endowed she's not going to turn down the oppurtunity. It's funny because the older men seem to be far less sexually charged than younger men and older women seem more sexually charged probably from repressing their sexuality for all those years. Get you some, Grandma!
The Sprinter
Not quite a Queen B, but perhaps one in training, The Sprinter can answer an average of 20-30 questions an hour! Her superhuman ability to quickly sift through a question's components and actually come up with a response that has a decent chance of winning Most Helpful Answer speeds her through the ranks and gets the attention of many regulars. She can't be stopped. Her ability to give advice on the fly is just too good!
The Overly Insistent That Her Pics Aren't Faked Girl
This girl is obviously fake, but, being a man, you hope against hope that maybe she's the one exception. Nah, someone's called her out and you've verified. You try to be a nice guy and private message her that she doesn't need to fake her pics since she has a nice personality. She will insist they are real and keeping sending you more equally hilarious fakes. When you keep telling her to be real she will finally give up and ignore you. Oh, when will she work through difficult period of her life?
Boobs Out Girl
Boobs out girl might not have a good looking face or maybe she does, but she certainly has the twins out and about. (It's funny, eh, how boobs can make a girl's smile pop?) Men on the site are mesmerized and girls on the site are collectively rolling their eyes and a few women openly admire her for her nice set without being sarcastic. We can never tell if she's insecure and needs to compensate or if she's so confident she's willing to endure female frenvy to show she's rockin' dat hot body.
The Well Established Black Girl
This site is mostly white. We all know this. But the black girls that do use this site regularly are very well established within it. This girl usually has a bunch of badges and is generally very well recieved. You can sense that she gets shielded from some insults because other users are afraid of it being mispercieved as racism. But for every freebie she gets she gets some neo nazi kkk fighter saying some horrible thing to her, about her, or just about her ethnic group in general. Race and feelings of ugliness will often be on her mind, but she's also interested in talking about just about anything and doesn't suffer from the tokenesque quality that black guys on the site seem to sometimes experience.
Inappropriate Relationship With Her Father Girl
You always see this awkward question "he grabbed my butt when I was wearing sweatpants" "is it weird for your dad to kiss you on the lips when you're fifteen?" "should i put on pants when my dad cuddles me to sleep? he says he doesn't mind..." Yeesh, just ackward. No one really wants to call the girl out for almost incest but that's what it is. When landing on this girl's question is commonplace to back away slowly and try to shake off what you've just seen...
Look How Hot I Am Girl
After going so specific with the last, let's go now with a classic look how hot i am girl. This girl has two main methods for for achieving this goal--either she puts a hot picture of herself that she took time finding the right angle for and asks "do I look ok?" or she answers a question/take that has to do with making uglier/fatter girls feel better with "I don't know that I really have this problem...I'm blonde, blue eyes, 36c, and have a fatt butt. Tee-hee." Ok, maybe she doesn't make it that cutesy but she does somehow end up listing features about herself when she should be showing empathy towards others. Shameful...
The Emasculating Men Junkie Girl
This girl simply gets off being as big a jerk, daring you to say the b word but knowing you won't, step on your balls with stilleto heels kind of chick. She wants her men to be "men" and many guys call for this challenge and start playing up their bank accounts, their bicep size, their penis size and any other pseudo forms of mandhood they can muster so that she says that they are the real man. More likely she'll lose interest as deep down she wants a guy to check her and "put her in her place" (as she believes it.)
The Male Groupie Girl
This girl exists just as much in real life as on GaG. She wants to find the most alpha, popular guys she can and flirt with them perhaps to raise her own status. While this may sound like it would end in failure, what the male groupie girl has going for her is that she is more forward than other girls and so she simply has crossed the finish line before the other girls have even realized they were racing. You may n not approve of her methods but she gets the job done.
The Puts Up With an Ridiculous Amount of Abuse Girl
Another common one is the girl who's question you're reading and as you do you slowly are like why the heck has she not gotten a restraining order on this guy let alone still trying to date him. It's hard to be patient with her...she seems to have a death wish. Yet, bear with her, if she could see how sad she's being from an outside perspective it's likely she'd change immediatly.
The Hates Other Girls Girl
Sometimes mistaken for the female apologist (by me) this girl has a hard on for taking mouthy arrogant manipulative girls down before they can crush the souls and dreams of unsuspecting innocent males. They usually have an emasculated father and an overbearing, narcissistic mother and so they can sometimes only see the worst in other females. To be fair, because she shares a gender with them, she's good at spotting the bad ones, yet her crusade alienates her from her gender and that....well, let's gotta' be lonely.
The Anti-Queen B
For every kingdom, there's always a frustrated group of rebels ready to engage in a coup d'etat. Think Mufasa vs. Scar. This girl stands up against the Queen B and attempts to dismantle her power. To do this, she uses a classic "look how totalitarian you're being using your influence and moderator status to control conversations" which I admit is pretty convincing. What really helps her though is that the number of anyone's haters is always a multiple of their lovers and people who would actually go through the trouble of having their back. The Queen B gets cornered by the Anti Queen B who's amassed other less powerful haters of the Queen B, organized them and Julius Caesar'd them while the rest of look on at the massacre then the mangled corpse of a Queen B who once was.
The Honestly Asking Girl Questions Girl
Ending this the way I started the guy take, the honestly asking girl questions girl just wants to know things a girl would want to know. A lot of the time, the question can only be answered by one gender or the other as she asks more specific questions than her counterpart, Honestly Looking For Advice Guy (Derrrr, what gift should I get her parents??) She tends to upvote every answer regardless of it having anything to do with her question and is generally more loyal to the site than Honestly Looking For Advice Guy who's used to keep his problems inside and repressed.
